HEAVY RAIN: Evidence Analysis Moves Into PlayStation Home

Some of you may have noticed some strange happenings in the Presentation Podium over the last few weeks. Well, as of tomorrow, we can confirm that the blast door, (below) behind the jumbo screen will be opening for the very first time unveiling a brand new space – The Backstage Pass.

What will you find in The Backstage Pass? Well, your first task will be working out how to get through the next security door, which will only open once certain criteria have been fulfilled…

If you do manage to get through, you will be able to take part in the HEAVY RAIN: Evidence Analysis mini-game. We don’t want to give away too many clues, however check out the screenshots below to whet your appetite:

And that’s not all, those of you that do manage to successfully complete the (cerebrally challenging) Evidence Analysis, will receive a rather special reward! This prize is definitely one you HEAVY RAIN fans won’t want to be without…

If you fancy updating your T-shirt wardrobe, make sure to visit Alter Ego this week. For both males and females, you’ll find a bundle pack of 20 new shirts. These shirts feature animated scrolling slogans. Priced at €4.99, this bundle is fantastic value!

Episode 2 of our new Home TV feature arrives this week. Available to view in the Theatre, Home TV aims to highlight all the good things in PlayStation Home – in particular, the fun things you, the community, get up to. Your head would probably explode if ever SCEE releases TVs, picture frames or music players within home for you wouldnt it chap.
What a different world Home would be if those of us didnt see the Phil’s showcase of TVs and stuff on home all those years ago.
And to think after SO many years where not even close to it yet.

Could just be that my Home needs updating but… I can’t even SEE the Presentation Podium at the moment. Last time I saw it, it was filled with Grav Crash stuff.

Can anyone else get into the Presentation Podium? I want to see the ALMIGHTY BLAST DOORS.

The Presentation Podium is only available when it is hosting an event. It will be available today once maintenance is complete.

Just to clarify, wasn’t London Pub Supposed to be SCEE exclusive? Why is it making its way to the SCEA today?

Why doesn’t neptune suite and waterfall make its way to SCEE? Seems like OUR ‘exclusive’ spaces run to scea a week after they release in scee… something is very wrong here!!!!

Great news on all the forthcoming content, looking forward to the AC2 stuffs, nothing else i’m really after at the moment..

The Heavy Rain stuff is looking to be brilliant though… was it a partnership between you guys and quantic? If so that’s very cool. For anyone who hasn’t done it yet go follow ******SPOILER@perfectfoldsSPOILER*****… he’s going a little crazy today, and it’s all going to help with the Space once it’s available..

The Heavy Rain event is for SCEE only, so if you’re on a SCEA account you won’t be able to access it.

@57: Home is still down for maintenance in the EU. It should be on your worldmap when its back up.. Not sure about the US, tho.

omg, I take it back again. this is awful, I can’t go to the podium!
it says I’m too young, I’m 17 and in Australia no games are R rated, this is nonsense!

I’m very let down on this one.

oh woah, wasn’t expecting a response.

yeah my details are correct, the problem is that things from games in Home are rated the same as the UK rating for the games. (I think)

like I can’t buy any Killzone 2, Burn Zombie Burn or RE 5 items, but I can buy and own the actual games.

this was particularly frustrating when I missed out on the killzone 2 event items, and the halloween event.
and I missed gamescom.

you just gotta have nothing for AU users classified R18+ because there’s no sense behind it, since it can’t encourage underage aussies to buy the games since they’re not 18 rated over here.
plus I doubt anything actually worthy of an 18 rating is in the content anyway.

I for one would be pretty happy if the Heavy Rain space was accessible for all Australian Home users. (compared to how it is now)

Is there a Bug with the Heavy Rain’s Sunglasses (Reward from the Heavy Rain Space)? When my Avatar is Saved with the Sunglasses, when i move to an other Space 2/3 times Removes them. Even when i Load the Avatar doesn’t appear to be on my Avatar!

I assume i need a heavy rain t-shirt to get backstage but ive not been sent the code to opbtain it.

Would like some NFL jerseys over here too guys, with the International seris becoming a yearly event and talks of getting a second regular season NFL game over here in the UK the sport is gaining popularity and it would be nice for sony to acknowledge the fanbase outside the US.

i have a problm on ps home i can’t place any more furniture in my house .it would be great if i could ad some more stuff in it and all so i can only put 8 harbr studio lamps in my house. some more of those would be great to. its only a tip but it would be more fun .
