Hi everyone! It’s Scott Hyman, back yet again with news about more fun content from TikGames-Creat Studios. I hope everyone enjoyed a great holiday season.

First off, we’re making a change… the coolest brick-breaker on the PlayStation Network has a new name, and some great new content to go along with it.

What was once Magic Ball is now MAGIC ORBZ!

So, I know what you’re thinking: “That is the greatest name that I’ve ever heard in the history of gaming, and I wish that I thought of it myself.” No, that’s not it? OK, then it’s “I am so impressed. Everything really does sound much better if you just add a ‘z’ at the end.” Not that, either? How about “Well, now that it’s called Magic Orbz, I simply have to play it. How could I possibly pass that up?” See… that IS what you’re thinking. You just don’t know it yet.

But seriously, we like the sound of it, and we like to play it even more. And to make you really love the name, we made a new Add-On Pack so you can stay up super-late trying to beat every new level and lose even more sleep while singing the praises of Magic Orbz.

For those of you not familiar, Magic Orbz presents a fresh spin on classic brick-breaking gameplay, enabling players to bust apart bright, colorful 3D environments, piece by piece. Using realistic physics and a super-high-tech system of object destruction, Magic Orbz is presented in stunning 1080p with Multiplayer Online and in-game live voice communications.

The new Winter Theme Add-On Pack is filled with penguins, igloos, polar bears, and lots and lots of snow and ice, featuring 25 new levels to creatively destroy, and new trophies to discover. The Winter Theme Pack will be available for €2.99/£1.99 on January 7th in Europe.

For those that have already enjoyed the wonder of Magic B… err, Magic Orbz, a patch is available to properly re-name your favorite PSN game!

Hi and a very Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a great time over the Christmas period and that you managed to keep yourselves busy with a few tracks from the last SingStore update in December – I know I did!

Without any further ado, let’s move on to the first SingStore update in 2010 – and what better way to start off the new decade with some classic from the likes of David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Crowded House and Texas?

You’ll also find quite a few foreign language tracks in the update including two local SongPacks this week in the shape of ‘Die Fantastischen Vier’, Germany’s original Hip-Hop quartet and Alain Souchon, for those of you who are partial to his great French tunes.

In 2009, we managed to release over 700 tracks and nearly 50 SongPacks to the SingStore plus many great features such as the Wallpaper Creator and free downloads like Voice Control and the Video Editor. There’s lots more great stuff coming your way in 2010 so keep your eyes and ears open… more from me in two weeks’ time. Enjoy!

It’s been a long time coming but here at ZEN Studios we’ve finally locked down January 14, 2010, as the official release date for the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 table, the second expansion table for ZEN Pinball. Fans will be able to pick up the table on the PlayStation Store for only $2.49USD and $1.99EURO. And for those who can’t wait to check out the action you’ll be happy to know that we’ve also included an exclusive sneak peek of the table with the trailer below.

That’s just a small taste of what the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 table is like but it should give you a good idea of what you can expect come this Thursday. Hi everyone. My name’s Liam and I am the European Product Manager for ModNation Racers! As promised last year I can now finally reveal the dates of the ModNation European Beta.

On the 22nd of January 100,000 of you lucky folks will be able to get your hands on this amazing Beta test. Jump, boost and drift your way around tricky racetracks, picking up weapons with every twist and turn in a battle to the finish line, then have a go at creating your own courses and challenge the world to race on them.

So how do you get hold of a place in the Beta?
Well just simply be one of the first to log on to the PSN store on Thursday 21st and download the Beta. Once Downloaded the fun will start when the lights turn green on Friday 22nd of January.

Is it free?
Well…. Ermmm…. Hmmmm…. How do I break this to you?
YES!

What happens if I’m the 100,001 person to get to the PSN store and try to download the Beta?
Sadly the tracks will be full of racers and you will be out of luck. The Beta will disappear in to PSN Store history vault.

What’s in the beta?
If you’re one of the lucky testers, you’ll be given the opportunity to race on four premade tracks; two of which are exclusive to Europe as promised.

You can also enter the Creation Station and design your very own character, kart and an alpine themed race track, ready to share with other Beta Trial testers.

When does the fun end?
Sadly all good things do come to an end. The Mods will be melted down, the karts will be dragged to the pit stop and the tracks will be condemned on Valentines Day February 14th.

Will I be able to look at kart racing games the same again?
Dunno you tell us….

So get ready to start your engines, grab that controller, make sure your PS3 is hooked up to the net (and its working) and get downloading, creating and sharing!
