Good day to you all, hope you’ve all had a good week.

Today, as most of you blog readers will know, is the day that we unleash the ModNation Racers Beta for you, and for the first 100,000 people who download it when the store updates (should be mid-afternoon), I can assure you, you’ll be having a LOT of fun. I will update on here, and via my twitter feed, as soon as the store is live.

We also have a fresh batch of special offers available for you, with a selection that should cater for all tastes. Personally, I think Smash Cars is great value, and that reduction on Unbound Saga is also very tempting is it not? Okay, enough tactless sales attempts I promise.

I’ll have a full report from our MAG256 event — including more video, photos and more — on Friday, after I’ve got my breath back. Many of you were there in spirit, using the #MAG256 Twitter hashtag to appear on our event Twitter wall. Thanks to all of you who did and, indeed, to all of you who showed up and helped give Zipper a good pounding! (Well, once at least).

To tide you over until Friday, here’s a timelapse video of the setup process for the now legendary “256″ structure that housed our brave soldiers during the event. I think you’ll agree it’s a pretty impressive feat of engineering.

So here’s the video. I’ll be back with more very soon, but right now, I’m off for a lie down. I think I’ve got shell shock…

Sometimes we forget (sometimes on purpose) that our southern hemisphere brethren have got some good weather going on while we have to sit here freezing our (Insert body part here) off. Because of this, we have to try to get artificially summery to give you all videos that remind us of the summer. Tomorrow, January 21, we’ll be releasing Patch 1.04 which now includes a new, FREE city-themed map called Brownie Town.

We’ve also fixed an issue with the online rankings, so now the All-Time & Monthly scores for Team Deathmatch and Invasion have been swapped to post correctly.

It’s all of you who keep the Fat Princess community alive & well, and it means a lot to us. We recently saw some amazing displays of fan enthusiasm and support, and wanted to share with everyone:
