PlayStation Community! It is time for you to pass judgement on our 9th LittleBigPlanet Contraption Challenge!

The zesty eyed amongst you will remember the blog article from way back in December in which I told you all about the LittleBigPlanet Contraption Challenges. For the latest challenge we asked you to trot on over to your ‘My Moon’ and create a Gap-Crossing Vehicle!

More Sackfolk than ever responded to the call with everything from bouncing balls to leaping frogs. We’ve managed to whittle the entries down to just 5 and now, it’s time for you to pick a winner!

The video below shows off each of the finalists contraptions. All you need to do is decide which one you like the most, then head over to the Official PlayStation Community forums and vote for the winner in our poll. The poll can be found at the bottom of any page on the forum (you’ll need to sign in with your PSN ID to take part).

Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Did anyone else stay up all night watching the Golden Globes like I did? Am so glad that The Hangover won for the best comedy, it’s seriously the funniest film I’ve seen in a while and if you haven’t seen it yet or would like to see it again, check out the new unrated version we just uploaded in the video store.

PlayStation.Blog.Europe Weekly Content Recap

The year’s already starting to ramp up as we look towards our new releases for this year with the full list of MAG Trophies and the newly launched Heavy Rain website. Not only that, but the ModNation Racers beta is imminent. This week has also been special because we’ve been able to confirm the upcoming Retro-em-up, 3D Dot Game Heroes, for a European release this May. Hi everyone! More exciting Heavy Rain news – I’m pleased to confirm that the official Heavy Rain website is now live. You can head over there right now to check out screenshots, character info and videos. But that’s not all – you can also find out about ‘Four Days’ – the Heavy Rain Online Experience…

‘Four Days’ is a live online mystery which plays out in real time across three weeks, beginning on January 26th. You’ll be able to get involved in the hunt for a killer – interacting with characters, identifying clues, making decisions. Between Tuesday and Friday of each week there will be daily tasks for you to complete, or puzzles to solve. Along the way, you may well discover some cool exclusive content – but just as importantly, you won’t find any spoilers that will ruin your experience of playing Heavy Rain itself!

Look out for further updates on ‘Four Days’ over the next few weeks, and register now at the official site to make sure that you don’t miss the start of the hunt. If you do, you’ll also get a voucher code for an exclusive Home t-shirt. You may discover that there is more to it than meets the eye…

On a separate note, many of you will have seen my earlier blog entry about the Heavy Rain Special Edition; to whet your appetites even more, I thought I’d give everyone a glimpse of the full contents…
