Was meaning to pick this up. Will definitely have a look at the demo.
Oh, and the plural to demo is “demos” … not “demo’s”.

I didn’t realise that this had come out, I played the white room demo a while ago and really enjoyed it. I’ll get the full game this week now that I know it is out…

I bought the full game on the strength of “The White Room” demo even though I kept reading how badly received the game was by critics.
Tip here: stop reading reviews!
My three kids & I have spent many, many hours playing this title. It has great humour & some taxing puzzles (and not just for the kids).
I’m waiting for some downloadable content now after I signed up at [ http://www.fairytalefights.com/dlc/ ], but so far nothing!?!
Any news on this please, Debbie?
Thanks.
BFN,
fp.

Played the demo a while back,it didn’t really do anything for me.
Not that gore in games bother me but I didn’t see a point in it.It felt like I was back in the Psone “look we haz blood” days.If you’d done half a level I might of felt different.
Best wishes towards sales and future products, but on that demo I wouldn’t go near it.

I saw this on a shelf in GAME around christmas but wasn’t sure, no matter how fun it looked. Will try the demo

this game is sick… and not in a good sense… We’re making gore as trivial as a pillow fight in a cartoon environment. I saw that with many games like Fat Princess and now we feel no game is interesting without tons of red liquid spraying the screen.
In depth I am tired of this, really. This game give you fun for the first 10 seconds, then it’s just pointless violence…

worst.game.ever.
not surprised you dropped the price, you must
have a warehouse full of this title.
according to VGC you’ve shifted 50,000 units.
fail?

As mentioned above, the “White Room” Demo does not show much of the game-play from the full release; it just allows you to experience the “hack & slash” elements of the fighting.
Although the fighting action is a significant part of the overall game, the design of the individual levels & the strategies to defeat the “boss” character before you progress in the story are also strong reasons to buy/play this game.
Although the in-game characters you can select to play do not have any voices, the narration is also funny throughout & carries the game along well.
The Demo was enough to convince me to purchase, but perhaps you can search for videos on YouTube, or GameTrailers, or similar sites for a better appreciation of what you will be buying.
