Well!
This month in our LittleBigPlanet Contraption Challenge – we asked you to build us a “Gap-Crossing Vehicle”! You, the Official PlayStation Community responded admirably, hurtling off to your local ‘My Moon’ to create your contraptions.
A couple of weeks back, we introduced you to the five finalists. We then asked you to vote for your favourite Gap-Crossing Vehicle in our poll over at the Official PlayStation Community forums.
The votes are in, our monkeys have counted them and I have the super-special privelage of announcing that the winner of Contraption Challenge #9 is…

So – with Contraption Challenge #9 over and done with, we thought it’d be a great idea to take a look back at the last 9 months of LittleBigPlanet Contraption Challenges. It’s been an impressive 9 months! Some of the contraptions have been absolutely jaw-dropping. My personal favourite is the big steel munchy-thing for Build a Siege Weapon!

LOL @DolphGB! Exactly the effect I was going for, funnily enough.
Seriously though, same here. I wish I had the ability to transfer what’s in my head to a finished LBP creation as well as this lot do.

That was the one I voted for, a very impressive contraption and a worthy winner! I’ll keep an eye out for CC10 but I don’t hold out much hope of being able to compete, my creation skills are no where near that good!!!

Fear not my friend! Search LittleBigPlanet for ‘MBs SUPER JUMPER’ and you’ll see just how abismal I am at creation too. That level got some laughs though!

well done that man! or woman. or, er, sackboy, or whatever. you gotta be pretty darn designerific with a crazy imagination and ideas so out-of-the-box that youre actually inside another box to be in with a chance of winning a Contraption Challenge
all the entries looked fantastic though, good going.

Is there mouse support for the game. Making levels with the controler is to dodgy for me (although the results in the video are great!)

There isn’t, but you do get used to it!
