‘Four Days: The Heavy Rain Online Experience’ kicked off last week, and it’s been great to watch thousands of you following the early stages of the investigation. A trail of clues led participants across the net, and they witnessed the disturbed and suspicious ranting of someone who may prove to be a potential suspect.
Some participants also discovered that their credentials gave them exclusive access to a parallel investigation taking place in PlayStation Home…
This week is where the real work begins. A crime has taken place, and you will be tasked with supporting the investigation. Analyse the crime-scene – question an eyewitness – assess the evidence. The consequences will be great, but the rewards may be even greater.
If you haven’t registered yet, then head over to HeavyRainPS3.com to sign-up (you’ll also get an exclusive PlayStation Home t-shirt when you do).
Four Days: The Heavy Rain Online Experience is a live online mystery which plays out in real time across three weeks. Between Tuesday and Friday every week there will be daily tasks for you to complete (leaving you the weekend to catch up if you fall behind). Each task will lead you onto the next part of the journey. At key stages you will be prompted, whilst on other occasions you will need to deduce the right thing to do. You will receive an instructional email at the beginning of each of the three weekly events, and you can always turn to the Facebook Fan Page Community for help and discussion.
Along the way, you may well discover some cool exclusive content – but just as importantly, it’ll be a fun experience, and you won’t find any spoilers that will ruin your experience of playing Heavy Rain itself!

Gentlemen!
Does anybody of you know if Heavy Rain will have a flip-cover? The US-version has one but I don’t know about the eu version.
Thanks for any reply!

I’ve just read the e-mail about the next part of the ‘investigation’ – hats off to you, that’s got to be one of the most unique things I’ve ever seen YouTube used for (apologies if someone has done this before, but I’ve never seen it)! It really gives a good indication (presumably) of the types of decisions and story branches you will get in the final game.
For those that aren’t playing along and want to try it, go to the YouTube link – the video branches (by way of links to other videos) depending on your decisions, there is a time limit though so don’t take too long deciding…

alright, my anticipation for this game is killing me. The 4days Challenge has helped ease the pain! Is the demo actually out 2/4? 6th axis seems to be suggesting that… http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2010/02/01/psn-store-update-040210/

Related to the Heavy Rain… will the special edition be available to other countries than UK? Just checked the pricing from HMV for overseas deliveries…

Thanks for the info kazicameron!
Yes, I was able to pre-order it from the same supplier here in Finland. I was a bit surprised they did not announce the availability anywhere here, even though they promised. (or I might have missed it)

I just have one concern. I’ve heard the version of my country will also have dutch voice overs, but more importantly will it also have the original Enlgish voice overs? I mean, I sure would hate to see the INfamous fiasco happening to Heavy Rain…
In short: No original English voice overs means I won’t buy the game… And believe me… I do want to try the game…
