minis are now available to play on your PSP and now PS3! One of our favourites is the fantastic Kahoots from HoneySlug. To start you off on the right direction against Cardborg, Nat Marco Lead Designer at HoneySlug has created some handy hints and tip for Kahoots.
by Nat Marco, Lead Designer at HoneySlug
For anyone wanting extra Kahoots love to keep them warm and toasty this winter, here are some handy hints and tips drawn with my trusty felt tips! I had a lot of these tactics in mind when I designed some of the puzzles, so hopefully this will make completing them easier! Some of the hints are even useful for everyday life, I mean…who doesn’t like cake?
Thanks Nat! Want to know more about how Kahoots was developed and designed? Then take a look at the video below when PlayStation went to visit HoneySlug in their London Studio.
And finally…! Pay Attention to Pegbeast.
Thanks
Adam!

Love this game. Best mini’s game I’ve bought.
I’m having a little trouble reading the hint sheet. The text is to small.

Thanks again. Best way to view the hint sheet is to hit the “All Sizes” button on SCEE’s Flickr page above the image.
You’ve all made us very happy this afternoon – Thanks for the awesome feedback!

Definately picking this up on Thursday. Looks great.
Congratulations on all the good reviews you guys have picked up, I hope they translate into equally good sales for you (not always the case unfortunately)……

When the work of Aardman Studios is being discussed, people often mention the fact that you can see the fingerprints of the Aardman artists imprinted in the plasticine figures of Wallace & Gromit and friends. It’s implied (or explicitly stated) that the fingerprints are not just literal but also metaphorical, describing the particular aesthetic of Aardman’s work, the love and care they take with their creations, and so on.
I believe the same metaphor can be used for Kahoots. I don’t think the PSP’s screen resolution will allow you to see the physical fingerprints of the Honeyslug team, but you don’t need to — they’re there all the same.
The game is basically a cheerful bundle of solid, satisfying puzzles, but delivered to you inside a colourful, hand-made package that will put a big smile on your face, cause you to laugh out loud occasionally, and give you a lovely warm feeling inside.
Also: the idea to have the game’s tutorials sung to you in a funny baritone by a monster with a clothes-peg for a head? Genius.
I would respectfully suggest to anyone who hasn’t yet picked up this game that they consider doing so now. Or on Thursday, if they need to save a euro.

Bought the game last night because of this blog post, and it was definitely a good choice. It’s a fun game with a unique look and feel to it. Of the three minis I’ve bought so far, this one is easily my favorite.

I have had this mini since it was released and still play it regularly.
Most importantly, it is great fun.
Almost as importantly, it has nice graphics, sound, humour, and is challenging.
It really is a great game to pick up and play when you want a fun game that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
