When is ’9 to 5′ by Dolly Parton being added? I’m still getting grief from the wife because i got rid of my PS2 with all the singstar games…THEN found out that the old discs were backwards compatible.

Thanks for the update again Nina. Wow, expensive week for me! I’ll be picking up Damien Leith, both Kelly Clarkson songs, both Pink songs, and the Crowded House song pack. Super-extra thanks for the Damien Leith track.

My super-awesome Australian artist recommendation for this fortnight is an Australian band called Kisschasy. In particular, their songs “Opinions Won’t Keep You Warm At Night” and “Spray On Pants”. Both excellent songs, with great music videos to boot.

Also, just a thanks for the heads up re: The Raconteurs in Australia/New Zealand.

A Savage Garden songpack would be awesome! Is their Australian-exclusive song (“I Want You”) coming to the european store?

You know, for one time I should be happy since there is one french song that I know, but the fact is “Ça m’énerve” makes me want to burn half a dozen houses.

I’m serious, this song makes me angry! And violent!

I sent to Aurélien (French Playstation Team) list in January of songs desired by the French. Each month, the principle remains the same: the French offer songs and then everybody votes for them. At the end, the vote is closed and the list is sent to you. This lets you know exactly the wishes of the French population. I wanted to know if you have received the list with the results from January? Can you also send here a little note to the French to encourage them to continue to vote. I tell them translate your message into French. Thank you very much Nina. The French players need your support!

Any chance of any Alphabeat soon? I downloaded 2 from the US Store a while back (Fascination and Fantastic 6) but since I swapped to the slim and a number of emails to Sony US I still can’t redownload them, what would be great would be a songpack as there are some great Alphabeat songs. 10,000 nights is on the “Pop” disc, and they have a new album out soon ?

Also any chance of “Toxic” from Britney, and “I Don’t Feel Like Dancing” from Scissor Sisters, as these are the only two left that I need the first ‘Singstar’ disc for that aren’t on DLC .. don’t like swapping discs ..

Nina, I think you know for awhile I’ve been waiting for more Kelly Clarkson and well…I’m over the moon with joy lol!
Then add to that my 2 Fave Pink songs (Who Knew being my all time fave) and the Lionel Song pack and I just dunno what to say.

Hi Nina, a decent batch of songs imo Well done on this week’s update. Could you please pass on the ongoing issue of one vote per IP/PS3 instead of per account please. It’s frustrating to have your stuff downloaded massively by one/two people.

Hello Nina. I have a problem with my club: King of Singstar on the online Singstar. It is impossible to have more than 455 members. When someone wants to integrate the club, she has a message saying that the club is complete. I do not understand why because some clubs have more than 455 members. It’s annoying for us because for that reason we are losing a lot of new members. Are you aware of the problem? can you tell me more? thank you in advance. My nickname is the club owner razazier

– Michael Jackson (Surely a disc-based “Singstar Michael Jackson” is a no-brainer?)
– Grease (!)
– Simon & Garfunkel (with full harmonies!)
– The Beatles

BTW, your devs should check out how Beatles Rock Band has implemented harmonies. Singstar could learn a lot from it.

This is such an exciting update, probably the best since i got my PS3 at the end of last year.

Am still waiting to see if you guys manage to get any Mariah Carey on there?? Wouldn’t that be fun, tackling those high notes hahah!!!

I’m about ready to panic, i’ve bought a new ps3 because of the old one going Yellow light of death, and even though the European hotline said they would fix my account it’s now 8 days ago and we’re having a singstar party Saturday… i need my songs

Why on earth, are we not able to remove our old ps3 from our songs?
it ought to be possible to implement it into the PSN account..

it could be set up so that it’s not possible to change twice in 1 month or some such… but why waste everybody’s time… and create frustration in the users?

I just want two make suggestions for future software updates of our beloved SINGSTAR.
1. It Would be great if some how (in the setup of something) you can select the diks you have from all the available singtar’s disks (ps2&ps3, US, UK, SPAIN versions etc) since most of us have a lot of disks from all over the world. Then all the songs you have appear in the song menu, if you want to sing a song from a different disk that the one you have in the ps system at that time, the program ask you to swap the disk. I know all of us would love to have the songs in the HD but at least this solution would keep the flow of the game.
2. It would also be nice to have a party mode when you can choose a bunch of songs at the start of the game and the songs plays one after other with out stop, I would love to have my ps just playing music in a party and if you want just jump to the mic when there is a song u want to play.

Just ideas but that would make singstar rocks even more…..

Hi Nina. My club is great activity around the game Singstar, helped to be contacted by a major TV channel. A report was filmed on one of our members. It airs tonight at a prime time. I do not hide my joy in edited to make a very nice free publicity to the game Singstar in France. The show will air at 18:50 (French time) on the M6 today.

I’m almost certain there is going to be a Lady Gaga pack sometime this year. If it takes a year to go through all the legal issues and what not for getting a song into the game then we will probably not see Bad Romance until the end of the year considering that is a fairly new song.

What no ‘Steady As She Goes’ for Aus?!?!! Hopefully this can be fixed sometime in the future?
Also, I’d like to request Love Shack by the B52′s and Groove Is In The Heart by Dee Lite, and will keep doing so until they end up on the store.

Oh with the new P!nk songs I remembered that for me, when I have Singstar Pop in, “P!nk – So what” gets 2 entries(I have downloaded it as well). Has anyone reported this before?

One last thing, two days after the next update it’s my Birthday, on the 27th. I know it’s not in your hand but could you see if Singstar can give me a present? ( I think you know what I want by now )
