Hi everyone –- last week saw the second chapter of Four Days: The Heavy Rain Online Experience unfold. The investigation took a dark turn, as participants took part in a criminal investigation –- handling an emergency call, investigating crime scene evidence, questioning a well-meaning but unreliable witness, and ultimately submitting data to the Bureau for further analysis.
At the end of the week, all those who submitted the correct evidence pack from the crime scene were given an exclusive voucher code to download the Heavy Rain playable demo from the PlayStation Store. The demo will not be made generally available until this Thursday, 11th February – so there’s still time for you to get involved and get hold of the demo early. Head over to www.HeavyRain.com to register, and then take a look at the active community over on the Facebook Fanpage if you need any hints or help.
The final stage of the investigation will take place this week – you’ve been seconded to work with the Bureau, helping them assess potential suspects against strict psychological criteria. This is where you will need to use all of the skills and information you’ve learned during the investigation, and ultimately make your decision – which suspect will you bring in for questioning?
Also – a big apology to those of you who had problems accessing some of the websites at times last week. We’ve seen absolutely unprecedented traffic over the last few weeks, and we’ve now taken additional steps to ensure that everyone taking part has the best possible experience. Thanks to all of you for your patience, and your enthusiasm for the fantastic Heavy Rain!

Still not sure who the suspect is in the Four day Challenge…

I really hope this game will do well. I know that a lot of PS3 fans will buy this regardless of whether they’re normally interested in drama or not. Probably simply to support an innovative title, at least that’s what I’m hoping for.

It’s really no wonder there was such high traffic when almost every gaming site decided to help people skip the challenge and give out the answers to Week 2′s demo part. Really depressing that those of us who actually worked on the challenge had to suffer

Very good job on this unique challenge, I really liked the Four Days challenge & it has given me a little view on what to expect from the game… but unfortunately I haven’t been able to download the demo due to my slow internet, it could take a week to fully download it
By the way, has the third week challenge begun? I haven’t received any e-mails on activating the next challenge.

Ever since this game was announced Ive followed it, I was so intrigued by the whole thing. Pre-ordered the special edition straight away and the four days challenge has been an excellent addition to my anticipation. Played the demo now I’m really looking forward to playing the full game.
You’ve outdone yourselves guys, nice one.
Shame about gaming websites spoiling the fun.

The demo was fantastic and really gave an outstanding atmosphere! Please SONY get a contract whit Quantic Dream and David Cage so he can produce more game for PS3 only!
He has created a new genre that I would love to see more games been created from!

I have a question regarding the the version of the game that will be released in the Netherlands. Could you please answer it?
Will the dutch release of the game also include the original English voice overs and subtitles? I couldn’t careless about the dutch voice-overs and subtitles since they’re always awful (though I have to give credit to Uncharted and Uncharted 2 which did a good job, but then again, the english voice-overs in the game blew away any other voice-overs, so again the english version was superior again and I was glad I imported that game from the UK).
However, if this game does not have English voice-overs, I will simply not get it. And that would be a shame for both of us. I will not even import this game from the UK or something like that, because the DLC of games is always region locked. And since you guys are planning on releasing DLC, I’d rather not invest in a game, where I can not get DLC.
So in short, one question:
Will the dutch version of the game also include the original english voice-over?

And i concure with DsupremeR. I want to know what Version i need if i want to play this game in English all the way.
First i hear there is no European Language on the UK Disk. – Ok, i don´t mind, works for me… but that would also mean that i can only get DLC from the UK Store wich would require me to Sign Up with a Fake acound wich i am trying not to do becaus i don´t want to manage money on 5 different acounts.
But this also means that the german Version will get it´s own Version of the DLC. – Dos this mean we have to wait untill the german dubbing is don or will it be out on the same day for everyone? – Or even worse, will the german DLC Only inludude a german Audio layer to keep the filesize lean? (i guss 5 houres of DLC would be around 5-10 Gig if the Demo already is 1,7 for three sceens?)
Next, the Democode from the 4day Chalange dos not work in the German Store, even though i got it from the german section of the Heavy Rain site and it includes a German Audio layer… dos this mean there is some kind of leagel blabla going on wich could cause the German PSN to have a Fallout like delay on DLC?
I am a paying customer, i´ed like you to tell me what i am paying for.

And one more thing. Why do all the German Shops say the Game is released on Feb. 26.? I thought this was the UK Date and the rest of the EU was getting it on the 24th. Did this change?
Please clear things up.

I write this again and I would love to see SCEE to do this ASAP!
Get a contract whit David Cage and get them to do games exclusive to PS3. Or even better make them a First Party Studio. Quantic Dream could be a European Team Ico!

Hello? Mr. Alex Pavey – European Product Manager. could you please answer my question? It should not be that difficult right… Or is the reason that you are not answering, that you have nothing good to say regarding my question?
