As promised, here I am back again, I got FTB3 now and as of one day in I can confirm I have not seen any pirates/hackers there yet so I am not requesting my money back for the PSP and library of games.
I am a bit concerned that hackers would still be able to get on there even with the code system as they could have a hacked PSP and buy the game legally and still ruin the fun for the rest of us by using hacks to get invulnerable maybe? I will keep you posted!

@ ninja_tom
You don’t seriously expect Sony to give you your money back for your PSP and entire games library do you? XD
If it bothers you that much, sell it…

That’s up to Square Enix to announce. I can certainly let them know that people want it, though.

i would urge anybody thinking of doing so to not buy socom: fireteam bravo 3, not while they’ve got that drm in disguise system, whereby you have to use a code to play the online portion of the game.
show them we wont subsidise this kind of invasive drm.
show them this is not acceptable.
you couldn’t borrow, lend, rent or trade in any game with this system.

@HazelAM If the DRM stops cheats I will be happy, so far I haven’t seen cheaters on there, unlike Resistance Retribution which is full of them (well approx 5-10% which is enough to ruin it for me
Basically what could happen is to be able to unauthorise the game so we can resell it afterwards?

the thing is this drm is nothing to do with stopping cheats.
they’re not going to let us deauthorise our copies when a big part of reason they’ve done this is because of preowned sales.
konami tried this with pro evo and it lasted all of one game, i hope this scheme is equally as successful.

@taurus82: Not til you mentioned it just now
, and i see now it’s linked to your PSN which is handy as you don’t have to re-register.
