Thanks for getting this sorted out. I recieved my CE copy on release day, and got the extra code on the same day. Since my curiosity got the better of me, I decided to redeem the code I got with the game just now, and use the extra code when March 4th rolls round.

first of all the game is great! one of the best games I ever played. but the troubles with the patch and now with this downloadable content are really annoying! I mean what happens with all the gamers who are not reading this blog? are they going to be contacted by sony or QD? I don’t think so. And I don’t understand how you can release a game as a special edition with missing content? is there nobody who is testing this first?
anyway I will try to contact the national service partner to get the new code (I hope they already know what I an talking about, I don’t want to explain them the whole story)
and finally is there any information about a new patch fixing the save & load bugs?

I’m really at my wits end here. I have no idea if someone can help me out but I cannot play the game for more than 15 minutes or so without it freezing up completely. I’ve also had other serious glitches and had to start all over (when I was near the end) because of a corrupted save file. I’m trying so hard to enjoy this mindblowing game but after resetting my console about 30 times now I’m starting to give up on it…

Are they going to put up the downloadable content on PSN at a later date?

I so wish I had read this news item before redeeming my code.

Can someone, please tell me how to get the Russian version of the game in United States? I am ready to pay full price in addition to the fact that I’ve purchased a copy of the game already. Any information will be extremely helpful.

yea i rented heavy rain and i tried it on 2 different PS3s and it always says it cant download trophy info or some BS like that does any1 know wut im doin wrong or need to do??? let me kno

I’m from Brazil, and I bought the Special Edition of the game on HMV.com, but by phone, and not online from the site. So I received the game today, and on the same time I tried to use the voucher code on the PSN.

But since the first time I tried to input the code on PSN I’m receiving the following message: “The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid”

So I’m afraid the content may not be available to my country. Could someone help me?

Important question here.

So I redeemed my code by today, getting the dates mixed up. I purchased my copy instore at HMV. So, I need to call customer services yes? It seems that the only line available to me is one that charges £1.50 an hour or some nonsense. So, is there a free telephone line or one that charges a standard rate that I can contact? Or even an email address… I’m not asking for much? I paid an extra fiver for this copy on a whim, so I want my bonus content… However, if I’m expected to pay even a tiny amount more to access this final piece, then you can keep the damn soundtrack.

ARGH, Gutted. I could of sworn that it said you could get all of the things on the voucher on the 3rd So.. I get in from school today and do the code – NO SOUNDTRACK. I’ll have to get Dad to ring up these customer service people, because I love the music in this game. :/

thats all well and good telling us to call the helpline but when the wasters on the other end keep cutting you off, thats when i start to get annoyed!

so obviously soundtrack wasn’t up yet.

It’s reported to be there. you do need a new code for wtvr reason.
i called in the afternoon. rep said: “you don’t need a new one. call back evenings if there’s any hassle”.
then another rep said: “you need a new one but technical staff left so call back tomoz”. so like mag you’re left w/o your pre-order bonus.

So I’m gonna call sony tomorrow. This isn’t on. I love sony to bits but treating like this feels like Nintendo’s level of customer support.

When should we expect a new patch to fix the save game issues? Twice I’ve had to restart the game, the second time after being 6hrs in! This isn’t on.

Hi Everyone. I just put the SE of Heavy Rain in my PS3 yst evening and in the very first scene when Ethan is waking up I push up on the controller and the game freezes! I had to do a hard re-set on the PS3 because I couldn’t quit to the psn menu. Got to play it second time round and loving it but I really hope it doesn’t happen again.
@ Alex or any of you respectable gamers who’s made the right choice. Just wanted to know where I go to accesses the dlc once I use my code because I didn’t see it on the psn store, just the Heavy Rain theme?

Does anyone know when we are due to receive the codes from HMV for the sountrack? It was said that people were starting to receive their codes from the 26/02/10, its the 05/03/10 today and still no code.

Hi All. Tried playing the game again in the small hours of this morning and the game froze during FBI agent Jaden’s first scene, had to hard re-set again, this is ridiculous, Sony/Quantic Dream please patch this! Anyone else experiencing these problems? Well at least it saves for me when I manage to get through a scene.

I received my new code from the PS Customer Service in Sweden, I entered it correctly and found the soundtrack.

BUT, I can’t download it. After agreeing to the “Terms of service…”, I received the following error:

“The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid”

COME ON SONY!!! What’s wrong? I really don’t understand why I bothered buying a PS3. My XBOX360 together with the Xbox Marketplace from Microsoft are way better, more reliable and “idiot” proof.

Just received a new code from Sony. It is working. I am downloading it now. The wait was long but we got there in the end. Thank you for sorting it out!
