Digger HD Demo Now Available

Countries: , , , ,

Hi PlayStation junkies! Scott Hyman from Creat Studios here, yet again. Everyone at Creat has been quite busy making new games for PlayStation Network and PSP, and we will be announcing all kinds of new games in the coming months.

Today, I’m here to let you know about our free-to-play demo version of the Digger HD, available in Europe on Thursday, 18th February. We have received countless emails complimenting our 21st century update of the 80’s PC classic. Yet many folks have asked for the opportunity to try before they buy, so we made it happen.

Digger HD

Digger HD is a remake of the classic PC game, Digger, from the early 80s. We worked hard to provide the old-school title a major facelift for the new millennium, while staying true to its classic gameplay. You get to control a little construction vehicle that makes its way through an underground maze. Dig through the dirt (and ice!) horizontally and vertically to create your own path while collecting power-ups, jewels, coins and other bonuses. Oh, and be sure to avoiding the pursuing monsters.

Digger HD

The full game features local co-operative multiplayer, and a vintage mode that throws you back to 1983, complete with original graphics and sounds. After giving the demo a try, you can purchase the full version right then and there.

Digger HD

As always, we want to give a very heartfelt thank you to everyone that has been buying and playing our games. Everyone at Creat Studios greatly appreciates your support, and we couldn’t do what we love with you. Please continue to send your ideas, thoughts and suggestions!

‘Heads-Up’ PlayStation Store Update (18th February 2010)

Countries: , , , ,

I’m pleased with the array of wares we have on offer this week, from a new batch of special offers (with the second phase of minis offers in celebration of minis month), to new games, demos, additional content, avatars and themes, there really is something for everyone. Don’t argue, there is, okay :D

Game highlights this week come in the form of Peggle Nights and Revenge of the Wounded Dragon for PS3, and SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 and Half-Minute Hero for PSP. I know these titles have been asked about a fair bit in recent weeks, so now you can get your hands on them.

There’s lots of additional content this week, notably the next sequence for Assassin’s Creed II, but also for those of you who have not yet got into the world of Burnout Paradise, we have two new, special bundles for you. The Complete Edition collects the full game, and all the packs that have been previously released, whilst there is also the Complete DLC Bundle that collects all the individual packs only (for those of you who already have the full game).

That’s not all, there’s a host of other content also available…full details in the list below.

PlayStation Home: MotorStorm Carrier, Plus Loco Island And Mui Mui Ship!

Countries: , , , ,

It’s that time of week again, when we stop by the blog and highlight upcoming updates for PlayStation Home. We’ve got plenty for you to see and do, with some great new spaces coming your way. This week’s highlights have to be the Loco Island personal space and brand new Mui Mui Ship public space, along with the MotorStorm Carrier.

That’s right, the stunning new MotorStorm Carrier has arrived in PS Home! Hinted at a few months back in the MotorStorm Sphere, the new MotorStorm space is a decommissioned aircraft Carrier. Bought by a wealthy, anonymous, rock star and donated to MotorStorm, the spaces comes complete with a number of mini-games, quests and funky rewards.

Check out the trailer below of this fantastic new space:

Try your hand at Lunatic Launcher arcade game or help out some of the ‘Stormers roaming about the space for your chance to win a prize. Or, if the mood takes you, spin some tracks at the DJ decks, where you can also play around with the smoke machine and lights. There’s plenty to do, and the choice is yours.

Once you’re done in the Carrier, we have possibly the best personal space out there! The brand-new (and incredibly cute) Loco Island. Watch the trailer below to see what’s coming:

This personal space comes complete with a swing, slide and hammock (for when you want to rest those weary virtual feet), as well as an array of LocoRoco characters including Mui Mui and Chuppa. Incidentally, the Chuppa can send your avatar soaring to the top of the tree house if required.

There are also lots of hidden features in this personal space. Try dancing in front of the LocoRoco for a nice surprise… You’ll also have the option to assist with renovating, or maybe even take part in a spot of farming: this isn’t one you want to miss out on! The Loco Island can be yours from Home Estates for the bargain price of £3.99.

The Mui Mui Ship is the perfect place for you to take a virtual cruise, from where you can look out at Loco Island and participate in a variety of activities. Sit down to a strategic game of LocoReverse, or have a bet on the hourly Domingo race with the pickories you’ve located.
