PSN Error Update

Anyone having a problem signing in. Stick todays date in, but add 10 years. 2020 seems to work. Then update the clock via the net tomorrow.

how the hell i put my time back yesterday when the problem started immidiatly and still till now i cant get on??? how can some of you get on????

40GB fat all working absolutely fine, date was wrong but just updated via internet and now is hunky dory

i looked at my trophies put whatever game i had trophies still it loaded up and then pusehed sign in, bingo

My 60Gb is back working, date was set to 19/4/2020, I changed date, resynced trophies, all came back, even my corrupted heavy rain theme has returned

i updated the time via the internet a some have done and still its not working plus i did it manually and no joy there either so strange how some have got it working unless they are taking the [DELETED]

peeps who bought it at $300 arent effected and the ones who paid $600 were just screwed badly

Although this is annoying & very frustrating I’m sure Sony will have a fix for this.
At the end of the day it would be catastrophic for them if they couldn’t sort it as there will be about 30 million customers out there unable to download from the PSN or play games, imagine how much they would lose in lost revenue from game sales etc….its in their interest to sort this out.
I hope they don’t recall the console though & can do it with a patch……just had mine repaired after the YLOD!!!

my ps3 is finally working but the date is 29th of april 2020 haha go 2 settings, time and date settings then set via internet!! just hope there’s no further problems!! peace

Still nothing here in London. Tried switching between wired and wireless, no luck. Will try the 2020 trick.

System worked after almost exactly 24 hrs since last use stay patient people

Ps3′s are working again !!

Either they fixed it or I did (orig 60gb PS3). Played through midnight last night (2/28) to this AM & saves showing 3/1 after midnight EST no problem (God of War). Machine off 1:30AM. On today (3/1 still) at 4PM & noticed 1999 date prob right away and had to manually reset (wouldn’t allow internet connect). Tried to load Hvy Rain, kicked out with “trophy error” message. Waited a couple of hours…

Just turned machine on again. Date now showed 4/29/2020 – yes, April, 2020 – wow.. Manually reset to 2/28/2010 backed out, confirmed update to 2/28/10 in upper right of screen, then back into clock settings and told it to set via internet. Jackpot. Correctly changed to 3/1, 6:30PM. Tried Hvy Rain – loaded no prob, and into saved game no prob.

Probably not my doing – maybe just got lucky getting in (who knows what they’re doing), but I’m not exiting to check . Sony – might want to get your PR people talking to your techs. You email us regularly with game updates & offers (some offers pretty good at that) but I suspect a lot of people consider this as important (if not more) than software info. Just my $.02.

Yeah and all the forums go quiet and its as if nothiong had ever occured. The guys at sony have a collective sigh of relief and bang out the drugs that this didn’t balls up their finacial year.

Sync your trophies they will return, I had same issue with assassins creed but after sync they returned. (compare your trophies with someone on your friends list)

Hey guys not to worry its a 24 hour thing. I got mine from Singapore so prolly the internal clock reached the next day early. Mine is working now!!

well i must have been lucky mine has been working all day and mine is not a PS3 slim… Althought the other 2 PS3s i have are not working….

PSN better be giving all PSN users a free credit on the store or something because as i see it, they are costing me money, I have over €1000 of playstation equipment rendered useless by them!!!!
