Hello everyone it’s Penrose Tackie here with a brand new trailer that offers a glimpse of one of the new features we can expect to see in Gran Turismo 5.
The Stateside NASCAR racing series is world-renowned for high speed, high octane, oval racing and with the launch of Gran Turismo 5, we will see the inclusion of NASCAR for the first time in series history.
Our colleagues in America recently shot a film featuring Kazunori Yamauchi that gives us a real flavour of the NASCAR experience and just what it is that makes NASCAR one of the world’s most popular racing series’ – Enjoy!

Cant Wait! I wish they had the WRC, Touring Cars and F1 rights as well. Polyphony are the best.

NASCAR is a rubbish sport (besides, you could just just do laps round the High Speed Ring- same thing), but i guess any extra addition to whats already gonna be a massive game is welcome. I’ve seen in various places that the current release date is 3rd Sept, but as to how solid that is i dont know.

Woah, they added a mode where you hold the accelerator down and slightly steer to the left constantly. Amazing use of the PS3, that.

No response. No community. No updates on http://eu.gran-turismo.com/gb/ for months. No release date. No idea.
Tell me what a brand manager does exactly?
Come on Sony & PD. Draw a line in the ground and stick to it.

Cool. I’m probably in a bit of a minority here, what with being British and loving NASCAR. This is great news, can’t wait to drive one of these in the game and get some good Oval races going.
I just hope you’ve got plenty of tracks lined up to go along with Daytona and Indianapolis. I’d at least like to see: Bristol, Darlington, Pocono, Talladega, Texas, Watkins Glen, Homestead and Las Vegas.
I think they should maybe delay the game a bit more and work on getting all the tracks in the game. Or at least think about offering them as DLC but at a reasonable price.
