Due to overwhelming demand from you guys for Heavy Rain, some of you may have had problems getting hold of the game over the last few weeks. I thought I’d stop by and let you know that all UK retailers have been restocked this week.
So if you weren’t able to get your hands on Heavy Rain before, you should have no problems finding it now!

Man it sucks for me because i have to pay €70 for my games most of the times
Just bought the normal edition of Heavy Rain today after waiting for my local store to import the special edition for one week. I was told today that it turns out there werernt able to get a special edition of this game after waiting almost 2 weeks after the release >:(. But atleast i get to finally play this game tonight.
It doesnt feel right to play this game during the day with siblings walking by and a bunch of distractions around the TV. This game is somewhat like Dead Space that requires a certain atmosphere in order to play it the right way

My store is faced with the on-going PS3 shortage and the demand for Heavy Rain has been surprisingly high. Its been the most sought after game in store this year, ranking above the other big hitters. Congrats Quantic Dream and bravo Sony for taking a risk. Looks like its paid off.

I googled ‘Heavy Rain Sales” and found an article saying Heavy Rain sold 500 thousand in the first week so if there is a shortage of this game backed up by high demand for it… lets just say it seems this game will do pretty damn good and im happy for it. This game deserves attention for the risks the Quantic Dream studio took of making a great game

If you buy 8 brand new games it costs you +/-€560 that is equivalent to a brand new LCD HDTV.

The game is awesome. I´m playing it but I try to restrain myself not to play trough it in a few days to extend the game. When I finished it I want to play it again because I´m already not happy with choices I made, but hey, thats life!
O, I bought the game in the UK because games in Holland are also very expensive.

I sell allot of copies of Heavy Rain at the Electronic chain I work in. Allot of older people around 30-35 are very interested in this game. SONY should be wise to make allot of more adult psychological thrillers because there is a huge demand for it. It is a gold mine SONY is siting on. The Heavy Rain brand is stronger then SONY thinks. Make shore to use it wisely and produce AAA titles that attracts this group o costumers.

@ OttoT:
I thought i would stretch it out too but the story drew me in and i finished the game in two sittings! But i immediately began playing a 2nd time and now i’ve seen two of the endings…. but there’s more endings that i’ve yet to see so i know i’ll be playing it again.

Heavy Rain could still do with some updates. Still lots of audio cutouts and choppy framerates.
Also, when I go to the Extra’s section > Playstation store, I get a “no content” message. (on the Dutch store)
Wasn’t there some ‘play as the killer’ chapter supposed to be there for download or something?

No kidding… I tried to buy Heavy Rain last week to no avail. I tried in 6 or 7 different shops and none had it in stock – crazy!
I decided to just order it from Amazon.co.uk instead though; why is it Amazon had no stock supply problem but highstreet stores did?

I had to go to 10 different stores to find a copy last week. But I’m so glad I made the effort to find one, It is a masterpiece. Thumbs up Quantic Dream.

Heavy Rain is a great game and I’m glad it’s doing well.
Still no news on the Four Days “reward”. Have QD/SCEE forgotten about it or something?

The PS3 shouldn’t have went outta stock, i dont mind the harsh sales, but Sony should’ve supplied tonnes, that was perhaps the main reason why 360 get its best february in its whole console life! XO

I also had huge problems getting the game. The trick was to go to a small supermarket – loads of stock and nobody thought to look there.

Good to hear the game is selling fine, it seemed like an experience not a lot of people would give a chance to. It made the NPD top 10 with only 1 day of sales, so that’s pretty good.

I convinced my friend to buy this by telling him it was like CSI Miami. Whenever you get to a crimescene, you have to say a bad one-liner, put Jaydens sunglasses on (or take them off) and then yell “YYYEEAAAAAAHHHHH!”

That’s great, but what is SCEE and Quantic Dream doing to fix the wide-ranging glitches affecting those who have already purchased Heavy Rain and are unable to play the game anymore? (as documented in the forums (http://bit.ly/5q5B9r) and the http://heavyrainisfalling.com web site). The lack of communication by SCE on the forum and blog is surprising and frustrating, even if the number of reported cases is on the low side. The Heavy Rain community needs answers!
