VidZone has the online premiere of the first Meat Loaf video in four years for his new single Los Angeloser.

This is the first release from his upcoming album Hang Cool Teddy Bear, which features star studded collaborations with Brian May, Jack Black, Justin Hawkins, Jon Bon Jovi and Hugh Laurie (yes the one from House M.D). Meat Loaf has been hard at work with Green Day’s American Idiot producer Rob Cavallo for the past year working on bringing Meat Loaf’s classic rock sound to the 21st Century.

“I wanted it big, I wanted it dramatic, I wanted a rock record” says Meat Loaf. “Yes, it sounds like a Meat Loaf record. But it sounds different too – it sounds new, it sounds fresh. It speaks to you in a different way.”

Video will be live on Tuesday 16th March at 12pm GMT in all VidZone Territories.

There are still aspect ratio problems, some widescreen videos are being squashed to fit a 4:3 window.

^ Like this, same with the adverts which are supposed to be widescreen (Lucozade, Way of the Samurai 3).

Plus the new Rox video isn’t working (Exclamation mark), although the Interview is.

Excellent news, can’t wait.
Not sure how good it’ll be with out Jim Steinman’s help, but I’m more than happy to give it a chance and find out.

Any chance you could display the lyrics along with the video, and maybe allow people to plug in mics to sing along, and even give them some kind of rating at the end so they can see how accurate their singing was at the end, perhaps? Thanks

Erm… sounds great but when is VIDZONE going to be fixed… myself and about 10 other users I know, all have the same issue.

When you choose a song to play it just hangs ? And sometimes when it does want to work, the next song hangs after it.

I’ve given up on it – deleted and re-downloaded it 3 times and I still have the same issue.

I heard emoney actually doesnt even like meatloaf. hes more into the filet mignon, than the meatloaf.

Yea… Meat Loved it too. He was driving by the day after the concert and saw me with the flag on the street. He pulled over and was all in to the flag. I was tryin to say something to him, but all he could talk about was the flag.

ben, do you have any plans on adding user created playists to vidzoe? I am using Vidzone ALOT but I dont have enough time to create a new playist everytime. Will you (please) add this feature to vidzone? It would make it so so much better.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve emailed the address you gave me with all the details of the problem. Hopefully your support team can give me some pointers on what to do. If it works again, I’ll instruct all my friends who have the same issue and take some stress of your helpdesk lol !
