Not a bad promotion, but what about those in the South and East of England? You’ve not even got a London one surprisingly, yet two in Edinburgh.
Still anything is better than nothing I suppose.

Heh, the 18+ id requirement is a bit funny as I am sure there will be people in the shops under 18 watching people playing, and thus be exposed to the game anyway. Not that I actually care, it just seems a bit ‘lets pretend this measure will actually mean anything in practice’ kind of setup

The horrible snuff-like slow-motion gore in this game makes me wonder if the devs are anything but deranged. How could anyone enjoy playing let alone creating some of the scenes in this game? Gods or not, what the eyes see is still a human being for example ripping the head of another human being. Yuck.

Yeah I’m flabbergasted that nothing in London is mentioned? It that because the Northerns are tough enough to handle GoWIII while us Southerners can’t.

Hey SCEE, can you tell GAME UK that it is totaly cool with you if they stick my GOW UTE in the post now? It’s been picking and packing since Sunday and I need to turn some Olympians into steak tartare.
Cheers!

No store doing this in Dublin, yet again Ireland is overlooked by Sony.

@KaiserSoza13
I was aware of an event that various staff from places like Gamestop were invited to which got cancelled. Its yet one more punch to the face that has been the God of War 3 release in Ireland. And no explanation has been given. We get nothing but the normal game and a consolation t-shirt for those who pre-ordered the UE or UTE. What the hell is going on Sony?!

@neospriggan
These events are for the public,I don’t even think there is a 00:00 launch night happening in Dublin, this Game has been built up to be the Biggest Game of the year yet no one has a clue what is going on, I hate to say it but Microsoft wouldn’t let a Halo launch turn into a crapfest like this has, someone please get organised here it’s turning into a really bad joke.

Waiting for mines in the post don’t disappoint amazon, Shame Sony have not marketed a game like this in the UK, when will they ever learn?

I watched a stream of TNA wrestling on Monday night, every ad contained a God of War 3 ad, I have not seen one single ad on TV yet on Irish or Uk TV channels.

@KaiserSoza13
True, Microsoft also wouldnt suddenly cancel all pre-orders for collectors editions 2 weeks before the game comes out. And, like you said, this is a gigantic release, the end of a series responsible for a lot of sales that kept Sony on top during the PS2 era. Why were we singled out to not get anything? If it was something as petty as not having enough stock for some other country, I will scream with rage till my voice is hoarse.

I have to admit, I’m quite furious – it seems illogical to not only take out the Unearthing the Legend documentary, but then swap out a half-way decent artbook for something smaller than the postcard – who on earth wants POSTCARDS over a documentary and a decent artbook?
It’s so nice to know Sony respects its European customers – I *thoroughly* appreciate that the contents of the Ultimate Trilogy Edition changed from when I originally ordered it – that is completely unfair to your customers. I would have imported the bloody American version instead.

What do you all mean by “I’ll be waiting for the god of war collection to come out before I buy 3.”? The collection is already out since November. And I have just received mine today.
