Hello, hello.
It feels like it’s been ages since I was last on here. How you all doing? I’m back, my feet are under the table again, and I’m dug in for the long haul. It feels good to be here again
We have a new batch of special offers available this week, with the mini title Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam joining the fun. This is the first mini title joining the special offers section, and marks the first of many that will be making an appearance over the coming weeks and months.
As mentioned earlier in the week on the blog, Wakeboarding HD is released and will provide some awesome fun for you. Also released this week is the massive expansion pack for Dragon Age: Origins, Awakening. This pack adds about 25 hours of story related missions, as well as new characters and skills.
Finally, as also mentioned on the blog earlier this week, Patchwork Heroes is released for the PSP, and again looks like it’s going to provide hours of fun.
As usual, I’ll be around all day checking out your comments, so I’ll probably catch you around.
Cheers all, have a good week!

To be honest I am too busy playing GoW3 to download anything but update seems to be ok. Dragon Age Awakening is finally here so I will check it once GoW3 is finished
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:07 pm by Mike Kebby
Enjoy GoWIII – I finished this last week – AMAZING game!

My UTE is coming through tomorrow!

I’m fine thanks. I was away last week because I was trying to do some good work for the store, hopefully things will come to fruition in the future

Woah.. 31 for the Dragon Age expansion….? Mike are they releasing that on disc or is it download only for EU?
Have a good day mate
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:11 pm by Mike Kebby
It’s download only for EU.

Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:07 pm by CodeMonkey_UK
Little dissapointing this week, but plenty of other games to catch up on myself.
Both questions i need answers to have already been asked, but i’ll ask them again.
1. What’s happening with Sam and Max preorder? Been waiting for so long for Telltale to release stuff on PSN!
2. When can i get my hands on more Heavy Rain via DLC? Just finished second play through and need more!
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:12 pm by Mike Kebby
Hey CodeMonkey_UK,
We don’t do pre-orders via the PSN Store I’m afraid.
As for your second question, information will come on the blog at some point.

Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:08 pm by FallingStickman
Nice update and I’ll be picking up the Dragon Age expansion even though it’s really, really expensive.
20
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:08 pm by V_Ben
the dragon age expansion is download only for ps3 in EU AcidCrashX
21
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:09 pm by Devilater
Why can’t i buy Dragon Age Awakening on disc?
I’m not downloang a big expansion.
22
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:09 pm by MistakenBeauty
Why is Awakening uber expensive compared to the other platforms?
23
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:09 pm by Darkscorpius
welcome back Mike, think I’ll be picking up DA:O – Awakening today. Judging by it’s price I’m assuming it has almost the same amount of content as the DA or at least I hope so. Have you any idea how big it is Mike?
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:13 pm by Mike Kebby
It’ll be 2 Gigs of download
24
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:10 pm by dgnfly
wauw this update sucks can’t say i am fully suprised with the stuff we kept getting over the last 3 years you kinda start 2 expect these kinda lame updates

Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening Expansion (£31.99/€39.99)
Pricing Error?
If it’s an expansion surely it can’t cost the same as the full game?
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:13 pm by Mike Kebby
Believe me, I checked, and double checked the pricing, and it was confirmed to me this was correct.
26
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:11 pm by ER-nut
nice update! any more news on Castle Crashers PSN?
27
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:11 pm by Adielr
Thanks to SCEE’s stupid no-DLC-disc policy, we HAVE to pay €40 for the Awakening expansion. Other (disc-based) versions of the expansion can be found as low as €25.
Thanks SCEE!
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:14 pm by Mike Kebby
The pricing wasn’t our decision though.

Oh and Dragon Age DLC

Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:11 pm by Amherst_Wind_4
Whos this? Wheres that Russ fella that always does our store update?
Also, when I noticed you got first Mike, I burst out laughing! XD
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:19 pm by Mike Kebby
Hey now, Ross has only done two updates, I’m the original and don’t forget it
I’ll have to get him scrubbing my desk clean to ensure he doesn’t get too big for his boots

Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:12 pm by wiiman07
What a joke Mike that some PSP games are not available in Australia now why would I go out and buy one if I don’t get games for it? The Heavy Rain Premium Theme is that the same one that came out with the game?
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:19 pm by Mike Kebby
I’m afraid we cannot mandate publishers to release in ALL locales, I wish we could, but it doesn’t work that way : It frustrates me too, believe me.
31
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:12 pm by StefNighthawk
Good for seeing a lot of “availability: all locales” in the PS3 section. Shame same can’t be said about the PSP section.
Any news about Half Minute Hero being released outside UK, preferably Belgium?
32
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:12 pm by DBarciela
Thanks for the great work Mike keeping us updated, but… What happened??? No downloadable games for Portugal???? Very disappointing news =\
33
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:14 pm by vicheous
I could not care less about the Dragon Age DLC not being on disc..
If it was up to me, i would have EVERYTHING on HDD. Even download full Blu-ray games..
Why can’t we have a “Install game” Option in all Blu-Ray games??
34
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:14 pm by BrutalGreenEnvy
The joys of wanting to play DA on this console rather than another I guess, even got screwed over with having to wait longer than everyone else for the 1st DLC >.<
35
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:14 pm by cmscrl
Lot’s of no love for the PSP outside the UK.
Makes me sad…

If i had the games, i would buy the DLC. Sorry nothing for me this week.
Next week a heavy rain update (dlc)?
37
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:14 pm by X201
Nowt’ on the store for me this week.
Roll on May when they’ll delay the release of Williams Pinball again.
Are you and Ross playing “good cop, bad cop” with us now?

Heavy Rain™ Mars Dynamic Theme? Does that mean we will be seeing a Madison Paige Dynamic Theme soon?

I shall be getting Patchwork Heroes, but oh my god, Lego Batman, I think I have just wet my pants.
Oh yes, hot dang!!!!

no explanation for why scee chose to limit the expansion pack for dragon age to download or disc but not both, while everybody else, including scea, let bioware provide a choice?
you can tell ea and bioware scee have lost them a number of sales.
does the dynamic theme have a preview?
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:17 pm by Mike Kebby
I can’t pretend to know the details so cannot comment, sorry.
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:20 pm by Mike Kebby
Also, there is a preview of the dynamic theme yes.

A question. I’m going to buy the DA expansion from the Polish store, but I have the original game in English. Will the expansion also be in English like the previous DLC or will I get a Polish version?
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:22 pm by Mike Kebby
As fas as I’m aware it’ll be in English.

49
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:18 pm by SlapnutzUK
The Dragon Age DLC is £27.20 on XBOX LIVE.
If it isn’t your decision why is the price different?
Can you confirm who did so I can complain to them?
Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:23 pm by Mike Kebby
The pricing comes from EA, I did query this with them to ensure it was correct.

Posted on 18 March, 2010 at 12:19 pm by Devilater
No, i’m not buying the downloadable, if GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City is on disc so should Dragon Age: Awakening, i’m not spening that much on it either and if i didn’t like it i can’t sell it.
If it was rent then i would rent it from PSN but PSN doesn’t let you rent games on PSN.
