I’m really pleased to announce that we’ve got a new promotion coming to PlayStation Store this week (starting Thursday 1st of April), and it’s all focused on a range of our PSP content.
For two weeks only, you’ll be able to grab a great deal on some great PSP titles. We’re calling them favourites because, well, they’re some of our favourites (though like all our children we love them all equally, just some more so than others) and the promotion features a range of well loved games that we’re sure you’ll want to snap up at these brilliant prices.
I’m really pleased with the titles we have been able to get reduced for you and feel that there is definitely something for everyone here, but don’t just take my word for it, see for yourself by reading the full listing below.
Available on PlayStation Store via PS3, PSP and Media Go

No,because Sony don’t own the MGS franchise,unlike Nintendo who own the pokemon franchise.MGS has been a multiplat franchise since before PS1,I played MG on the NES.
Apart from the N64 and possibly a few Sega systems MG has a history of being on different consoles,yes even the GameBoy Colour

@102
Yes MGS used to be on different consoles, well done…
Just like MGS/MGS2/MGS3/MGS4 were all on the PS1/2/3, MGS:PW will be on PSP, if anything did come to the DS, it would not be Peacewalker, but a new game. Kojima would never do something that drastic to Sony, a company that has supported him for years.

Only 4 wasn’t multiplat,unless you count the i-phone version,but the less said about that the better.
Anyway being a fan of MG for the last 23 years all I said was a port would be nice,I don’t want a PSP for basically 1 game.
if they do a original entry for 3DS great,if they port PW great.And considering the franchise history,the systems it’s available on,only a exclusive contract could stop Konami doing a potential port.
If the specs of 3DS are viable,the crazy market share Nintendo has,and potential sales from that market share,the business opportunities would be difficult to turn down.

i wish we could get straight answers in this blog coming from a true gamer instead of half fast answers from a person with a sales pitch.

Are you referring to my posts? I think you’ll find I spend enough time on here actually talking about games, to show just how much of a gamer I am

Mike, Any idea when this is going live? my home internet is down due to the BT fire, so it would be good to download from work before I leave

My store post update will be going live fairly soon, and the store should update at some point before lunch.
I promise that is no joke, and I will NOT be trying any lame attempts at April Fools humour today
