Any news on Machinarium? I read the devs have submitted it to Sony. Sony have been pretty stupid in the past so I hope they don’t pass on this game.

I’ll make some enquiries and see if the developers have anything to announce to you guys here on the Blog.

Previously it was announced that Hamsterball would come to the Store this week but there was no sign of it. Can you give us any info when it will be available. The game looked nice, so it was a disappointment it wasn’t released this week!
Also I have read some info about Alien Breed: Evolution coming to Store in June, any details about the release date yet? A big fan of the AB Amiga-series in 90′s, I would love to have the AB:E as soon as possible!

What ever happened to the Pac-Man Championship Edition Mini?
It was announced as a launch title, and to this date we still have no information about the game…if it is coming atleast give us a sign.
Also, any news regarding Resident Evil Portable, or is that game canned as well?

As soon as Namco or Capcom have something to say about these games I’ll be making sure they let you guys know here on the Blog.

@ S-Cript:
Indeed, it’s not over until i cave in!
Mind you it’s not about compensation for me,all i want is to be able to buy stuff off the store again like any other Sony customer.
There was some good stuff on the store this week too lol. Perhaps they thought we would be enticed to downgrade
I will buy a slim first! – i’m not about bashing Sony, i’ve enjoyed many years with playstation and will continue to do so in the future – but i can’t condone the removal of a feature i paid for in the first place and i equally don’t condone the discrimination that is now ocurring between those who opted to retain linux and those who did not. We are all paying customers and should be treated equally as things stand in my opinion.
Oh and lest i forget, Howya Jem ! .. on a more light hearted note but with a hint of irony have a peek at this one..

funny bonyman,
now we all see you replying to my message and they’ve(Sonot) deleted my message in between time
im not about bashing sony, but with my over 15.000€ of investment in sony Hardware & software over the past 10 years
i(we) should be treated like a shareholder
1) where is the videostore for the EU (its bigger than UK,Ger,France)
2) where is the comicstore for the EU (its bigger than Uk,ger,France)
3)roll back the otherOS,since the EU-law (and path you followed to evade the EU-tax),awaiting the EU-rulling to proceed.
4) which it all started,
on the web we’ve read there PSP-Home is canned.
why there is nothing mentioned here?????
it’s developed by sony
it’s released by sony
it’s canned by sony?
tomorrow i’m gonna call my taxsupport to buysony shares.
this to invoke my right as a shareholder
because security is a risk,not that i have to,but because i can

@S-Cript
On the PSP-Home subject, if by ‘here’ you mean the EU blog, it wouldn’t be relevant to post it either here or the US blog since it’s a Japanese-exclusive beta for PSP, and as far as I know, the Japanese don’t have their own official PlayStation.Blog.

i ment by here since SCE has released a press that it was canned.
and in contrarity to the OtherOS,where a month of yes/no-messages
from the directors/fieldmanagers of sony self,
this one got canned without any notice
while, like many things got promissed on TGS (in this case)

There wasn’t any need to remove it before the custom firmware exploit was found. In slight defense, it wasn’t a mandatory update, so you could of still used your PS3 for Linux or Other OS presuming you used it at all..

Does anyone know if cross-game voice chat is going to come out, or is it just a rumor?

hi there, its unfortunate that the GCON3 died so soon. are you guys making a ps move zapper and tennis raquet/sword plastic to hold the sub controller and main controller together, i think it’s the only way to play it. or else you looking at third party companies like PEGA who did it for the wii (and subsequently took a share of the official nintendo wii zapper’s pie or market share).

@11: There have been several firmware updates in the past which were not mandatory and you could still connect to PSN without updating.
