Never played the first 2, but I will be tempted if Dante / Nero (Devil May Cry 4) and Frank West (from Dead Rising) are in the game
I’ve covered wars y’know….
Also Capcom, why did you have to make the Dead Rising: Case Zero Xbox 360 Exclusive
? It would have made sence to give it to us as we never had DR1
Oh well, I’ll be buying on the xbox then
(BUT I absolutly loved the first game)

Kind of off topic but is there any reason Dead Rising was never released on PS3? Too much hassle to port? Would be good to see it come out as a full downloadable PSN game. Given DR2 is multiplat it seems odd the first never made it to PS3.

Will this be using the SFIV engine? If so it should probably look nice. Hope it at least plays more like Marvel Vs Capcom 1 than 2. 1 is somewhat decent if lightweight distraction from the Street Fighter series. 2 is just an abomination. Either way I’m far more looking forward to Super SFIV which is nearly out and pre-ordered mine a while ago.

For the love of everything holy… PLEASE:
HAVE CUSTOM SOUNDTRACKS!!!
I loved MVC2, but there’s no way i would’ve bought it if it didn’t have Custom Soundtracks.

Hi guys,
MvC3 is actually built on our own engine, MT Framework. Which means it’s not the same engine as Street Fighter IV. Worry not, though, MT Framework is a beast. Lost Planet 2 is the proof of that.
Re: any sort of ingame features (eg soundtrack options) – you’ll have to give us some more time before we spill the beans on everything this game has to offer. We’ve only just announced it!
Re: Dead Rising on PSN – it’s unlikely at this late stage and this close to Dead Rising 2 that we’d remake it for PS3. The important thing here is that you don’t need to have played Dead Rising 1 to know what’s going on in Dead Rising 2, or to enjoy the glorious process of dismembering zombies with the greatest selection of weaponry ever seen in a videogame.

Marvel vs Capcom 3
YAHOOOOOOO!!!!
But why 2011? Can’t they get this out by the end of 2010.
Well i guess i’ll just play SSF4 till then.
This game looks Awesome so far. Of course that’s just a teaser and not actual game play. But hopefully soon we’ll see some real game footage then.
Great work Capcom.

Well it’s a surprise all right. Chris Redfield is a bit of a shock (in a good way) as well. I’m also keen for custom soundtracks too. One thing that always puts me off these games is the lack of any real story. Please have a strong story and that’d be the biggest surprise of them all!
