So, hope you didn’t miss me too much last week…how ever did you cope?
I’m pleased to say that we’ve got three new PS3 games available this week; from gun-tootin’ gunslingers in Lead and Gold – Gangs of the Wild West, to furry domesticated animals running riot in Hamsterball Unleashed, to high-speed arcade action in After Burner Climax…a little something for everyone, and for all those hamster owning fighter-pilots with dreams of wandering the prairies hunting outlaws, you’re especially well served this week.
I’m also going to remind you that the brand new mini Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess! is available, and that the next batch of additional content for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, the Siege Expansion Pack is here too. Add in a mix of new demos, add-ons and various other bits and pieces and that rounds up this week’s update. What, you want more information? Then scroll down for the full list.
From the 5th of May the store will change the weekly update day to Wednesday, so be prepared to reconfigure your week around this monumental event!
Also, have you noticed the blog survey that went up this week? Why don’t you have a gander and provide your feedback, it’s useful for us to gauge your thoughts…but don’t forget to mention how much you love the store, the updates, and of course your ever loving friend, me.
As I’m back, that means I’ll be monitoring the comments this week as usual, so give us a shout and I’ll respond to what I can.
Cheers.

Any news on a “Demo” section for the UK store?
Are any other navigation improvements for our store.
You added a “Minis” section quickly.
So it can’t be that hard

So nothing for the PSP then. Kinda getting worried that my PSP Go is turning into a paperweight – not even any legacy content?
*Sigh* Last Sony console I pony up for at launch, what a total waste of money.

I’ll be getting the Uncharted DLC, whole game mode, 2 maps, trophies and skins for under a £5. bargain
Not sure if you’ll see this
But i have a suggestion. It would nice if maybe once a week you could post the top 20 downloads which have been done on the PS Store. Just a small idea i just had

Lead and Gold looks neat, i’ll be picking that up. Seems I should be picking up the Uncharted pack up aswell in the coming weeks, what upsets me is that my limited edition of U2 gave me 2 of the skins in this pack. Please don’t make Golden Guns available in the DLC aswell. Atlantis was a fun game, but it’s price tag is pretty hefty and the Lost Planet 2 demo will hopefully be downloaded by me sometime this week.
Good Job!

Can you get rockstar to drop the price of china town wars again because i missed it and no sane person would pay £29.99 for that. If not i guess i’ll borrow it from the in-law, which is free i know, but i do like to pay a fair price for a fair game.

Hi Mike!
I finally finished all the big games that were released these first months.
Two days ago I wanted to buy some games from playstation store but all of the sudden I cant.
I’m not even allowed to register my visa card on my billing information because somethings wrong.
I tried to call up our swedish support but the number is changed and the new one is nowhere to find.
I talked to my bank and added “secured by visa” which is required for purchases these days.
Everything is in order but I’m just not allowed to register my visa card.
Can you please give me a hint on how to sort this, or the new number the swedish playstation support has?
I tried googling it but can’t find it.
I would appreciate some assistance
Thanks in advance!

Hey Mike,
Nice to see RBN finally hitting the PSN, just a shame about all the limitations. Just thought I would let you know that I have decided to change platform for RB now. It is going to cost me a fortune to change, but I no longer feel like a valued Sony customer in recent weeks.
I shall pick up some PSN games (for the slim) when they are reduced, since I have money in my wallet (which was for RB+RBN tracks for the phat) but will no longer post on the store thread.
Anyway, it was fun whilst it lasted Mike! Hope the store date change goes well for you. Take Care

Hi,
Just one question in regards to future DLC. Is there any chance we will ever see the Uncharted 2 soundtrack for download on the PSN? The music of the game is great so it would be cool if it would be a available on the PSN to download all the songs from the game.
Cheers

Question about the “Buzz! – 00s Quiz” pack. Is this compatible with the “Buzz Brain of…” games or just Quiz TV / Quiz World? I own “Buzz: Le Plus Malin Des Belges” (Belgian edition of the the “Brain Of…” game).
I’ve been reluctant to purchase any add-on packs, since although the game box (and PS Store descriptions) say you can extend the question range with downloadable packs (listing the game disc ID as compatible), I’ve heard reports that the Australian version had some compatibility problems…
I just want to be sure before I make a purchase I won’t be able to use.

Ok finished reading all the comments so far, and here is what I have to ask/coment on.
1. If lead and gold turns out to be released to all locales, then why would you not be able to release it after the store update goes live? You’ve done it before. Last week in fact with the GTA dlc.
2. Thanks. We are the more active downloading audience. And yes Disney would be making money. Perhaps you can use this as a pitch next time when you meet with Konami, Capcom etc “If Disney can turn profits off these pieces of S**t, then think what we can do with your game.”
3. Maybe you should place a small banner at the bottom of the PSN store to link with the Blog or even just advertise it. More people would then be able to voice their opinions.
4. Yeah, I also preordered Demons Souls BP edition. Strange that Namco Bandai are publishing even after Sony admitted it was a mistake not getting the publishing rights for the US and JP editions.
Keep up the work.
and see you next week

Nice update, lots of content
Apart from no Monkey Island, HypeballoidHD, and the Capcom emulator – this was nice.
It’s actually so much now that you need to structure it with a theme and present it with highlights to not create an impenetrable wall of text

Oh, and are there any updates on who will pick up Phantasy Star Portable 2? It’s a great psp-game, uses ad-hoc, and has networking options. Really neat.
(Specially since my ps3 is off limits on the PSN, thanks to the 3.21 update)
