Now that i’m ‘back’ i picked up Monsters(probably) and the sam&max demo so i’m gonna get cracking on them now..

….. and i had no idea PS3Attitude were using me as a case-study for their advert

…good to see at least something is working at Sony. Think you could make that observant success and attentive attitude infect the guys who run the firmware updates? Or the producers on games with online integration or online play, perhaps? :p

Jem,can you do me a favour mate.If you get time,can you ask the tech team responsible for firmware if they can look into why the latest update has stopped the PS browser remembering log in details.Before it would keep me logged into here,google mail,youtube,everything until I deleted the cache.Now it wont remember anything once you switch off PS3 It’s slightly annoying because it was fine until 3.30

I think I read a post saying that’s always been in the TOS since 08,it even had a link showing the TOS.This isn’t new.

I think what’s happening now, especially since OtherOs removal, is more people are reading the ToS for the first time and if you count all the people (like me) who delayed updating, i reckon that brings it up to about 1% of all PS3 owners have now read and understand the ToS. Not saying i agree with everything that’s happened by a long shot but what i read in the new ToS seemed primarily to circumvent any hacking or piracy, and i had no problem with that.

and the login problem has to do with the browser not saving the cookies, or it is saving then forgetting/resetting them. I also hope it get’s fixed soon, the ps3 browser is such a great feature that a lot of us have come to rely on.

I’ve stopped using my ps3 since april first. I’m now waiting for microsoft to make better games.

I agree,I find myself using my PC less and less.I played my brother on uncharted 2 earlier,and was able to grab and upload images in 5 minutes without getting up off the sofa

I do hope Monkey Island is released this week, I feel very let down by it being on the US store and not ours last week, we had Sam and Max at the same time so why didn’t the same happen for Monkey Island?

If its a QA issue, please don’t take ages like you did with FF8, I want this game ASAP!!

Here’s a thing…
When i switched on my ps3 today and came here with my browser, i was still logged in, so the cookie was working.
I kept the browser open and opened a new page and logged into another website. When i came back to this page i found i was logged out again from here.
So it seems to be only saving one cookie at a time from what i can tell so far.

I wonder if it will be fixed by a stealth update… that would be cool

if and/or when we get this game in europe, i urge you, DO NOT buy it.
we do not want the kind of drm ubisoft use for their pc games on ps3, i want to be able to play a single player game even if my internet goes down.
capcom, and other publishers need to know we won’t accept this.
buy this and you tell them you’re ok with ever increasing levels of drm in the games we buy.

I need to report someone on ps3 online (Fifa) ultimate teams who has hacked my account and took my player and i have heard this taity-7 has been tricking people into giving them there password so he can hack accounts,,this has to stop and ban him. x
