YES¬
I was a bit annoyed to see the title ‘Me and Orson Welles’ only available on DVD at Tesco… I wanted the Blu-ray version. However, it’s great to see that the HD version is available to rent on the store!!
I’ve also rented ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’, as it seems quite funny.
I don’t buy movies from the Vid Store – If I buy, I prefer the hardcopy. (Which now is generally Blu-ray versions).

@Roxas598
Not sure if this applies to just the US, but I think I remember reading that Avatar is only available to buy until 28 days after release, then it’ll be available to rent. It’s not available to rent anywhere, and I assume that applies to digital distribution services as well.

I dont understand why a movie company like Sony fails to bring the moviestore to the rest of the world, when a software company like Ms can bring movies tot the rest of the world with a on demand full hd streaming engine. it has nothing to do with laws or licences cause Sony has them all… just bring the movies allready!! I dont get it?! explain why it all take so damn long when other systems seem to be leading and setting examples??

Avatar Stereo only ? please tell me this a joke ?, Sony the company that is known around the world for audio and it gives us state of the art STEREO movies ?, what’s going on Sony ?, your competitors are laughing at you while they have every movie sd/hd in surround sound and even able to steam instantly, how can we support such a service when it’s lagging behind like this?

CONCENTRATE on getting us more titles to RENT. Give us a big choice and you kill the need for me to use Blockbusters or LoveFilm.
I don’t care about buying movies because the PSN prices are not competitive when compared to DVDs bought from online retailers. I prefer to BUY on Blu-ray because it delivers the best picture.
