Thanks to Jem and the team for having me back so soon.
I wanted to expand on my previous blog announcing that Championship Manager 2010 will be coming to minis with some more details and to show off some new assets.
Championship Manager 2010 will be available to download from the PlayStation Network around Europe as of the 29th of April for just £4.99 (€5.99). That’s less than one week to wait before you can take on one of the toughest jobs on earth.
In addition to the new screenshots you can see here, which also answer a few people’s questions about whether or not the game will contain real player and team names, we’ve also put together a video that shows you a little bit more of the game.
So keep an eye out on the 29th of April for the game to appear on the PlayStation Network and enjoy starting your management career.

Out of interest will this game ever get patched to update stats/players. I’m a big player of Football Manager on the PC and patches and updates are very appealing.

will this work on PS3, and is so how effective will it be?

@seany1: I’m sure it would be harder to integrate the game so that it would work on the PS3 and PSP, so I presume that would be the reason why the price is higher.
I for one am looking forward to this on Thursday. Been waiting for a football managing sim for a few years now as I only own a PS3 and didn’t want to buy that cheap knock off managing sim that was released on the Playstation Store a few months back.

I thought minis were supposed to have a mini price??? This is more expensive than some full PSN releases
Bit of a rip off to be honest, no thanks

Nice, £5 seems fair, to me anyway, considering i will get more longevity out of a decent football manager game than most PSN games.
Nice to see real names etc too.
Its a shame the minis arent trophy enabled though.
Anyway, hopefully i will be able to lead Liverpool to better position than we find ourselves in in reality!
I presume David N’Gog is world class in this too?

@14
yes but they are on sale, so it doesn’t really count. Mirror’s Edge was on sale for £3 today, which is cheaper than a lot of those PSN games. Does that mean they are overpriced? No

@ 15 so its back up to the normal price of 2.99 for ipod then is it . still cheaper yes plus game has been out for a while so i dont buy it costs more to make it for psp sony touted minis as bite size games with bite size prices now in my eyes a bite size price is a maximum of 3 pound

Was wondering what would be the first game to break the €4.99 barrier and open the flood gates for other publishers to follow suit… this time it’s €5.99, give it a few weeks and it’ll be €6.99, by the end of the year minis will just be mini games at normal PSN prices (€7.99 & €9.99), the same thing is happening with PSone classics, the really popular ones (FF & MGS) have been priced higher purly because they’ll sell no matter what price they are… I’m pretty sure it was said when minis launched the cap was 100MB in size, no DLC updates available and a €5 limit on price…
