Countries: , , , ,

Hey! I am Yan Marchal, manager of Sanuk Games.

As this is my first post here, let me introduce us briefly. Sanuk Games is a game studio based in Bangkok, and we’ve been working on various console games for a couple of years. On the Playstation “Minis” format, we have released Spot The Differences, Telegraph Crosswords, and Telegraph Sudoku & Kakuro.

Today we are releasing the “Minis” version of an award-winning horror game: Hysteria Project.

Hysteria Project

In Hysteria Project, YOU are the hero! Step into the shoes of the main character and take part in an unforgettable adventure! Will you make the right decisions and make it out in one piece?

Hysteria Project

Hysteria Project

Hysteria Project is a groundbreaking gaming experience where you are the hero of an entirely filmed adventure. Keep a sharp eye on what’s going on around you and make the right choices at the right time. Have you got the guts to be next on the list?

Hysteria Project

The original version of Hysteria Project, released by Bulkypix, won the “Revelation 2009” Milthon award in Paris, and was praised by fans of new experiences and thrill-seekers. Levi Buchanan of ign.com wrote: “HYSTERIA PROJECT reminded me of those old FMV games I used to play on my SEGA CD as a guilty pleasure — but this one only cost me two bucks for the same level of enjoyment”.

Hysteria Project is available today for PSP and PS3 at the price of € 1.49 / £ 1.24.

Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype Coming To PSN In May

Countries: , , , ,

Hi everyone, this is Tet from eastasiasoft. In partnership with SideQuest Studios, I’ve been co-producing our upcoming PS3 shoot ‘em up game Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype, expected to hit the PlayStation Network in the coming month.

Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype is the successor to our 2008 released PS3 game Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer (yes, unless you are fluent in German, that was the game with the impossible-to-pronounce name). Gameplay wise Söldner-X 2 is taking you back to the roots of the classical 2D shoot ‘em up (or also referred to as ‘shmup’) genre, audio-visually combined with what the PS3 has to offer. In this horizontal-scrolling shmup, it’s your mission to protect the galaxy from the D’aarg, a technologically superior race that is threatening mankind.

To leave it plain and simple for now, during the seven stages of the game, you can expect nothing but pure action with hundreds of enemies to shoot down, thousands of bullets to evade and huge boss battles to be fought.

Well, I guess I could go on and on for a while, so I’m trying to make it short. In Söldner-X 2 you can expect high-definition graphics with classical 2D gameplay, combined with 3D backgrounds in up to 1080p, exciting bullet patterns that require your best skills, powerful weapons, limit attacks and fourfold chaser system, a newly-designed chaining system, detailed online high score ranking tables with replay file sharing, an adrenaline pumping soundtrack with 30 unique tracks and so much more.

Finally, I’m pleased to present you a first look at Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype in action. Check out our launch trailer and don’t forget to watch out for Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype when it’s hitting the PlayStation Store in May 2010. As you can probably feel, I’m already more than excited!

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that the guys at Cambridge studios are working really hard to develop some great new features for PlayTV. The next update for PlayTV is due later this year but testing of some of the new features has already begun.

PlayTV

I don’t want to give too much away and spoil the surprise but a little hint to one of the new features is that PlayTV will have links to the worlds most popular social network site, Facebook. Other great enhancements to PlayTV and brand new features will also be included in the update.

PlayTV

As soon as these exciting new features are ready for you I’ll give you all the details here on the blog.

Hope you are enjoying your PlayTV on your PS3. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them and I’ll be back on here on Monday to answer as many as I can.

PlayStation Home: Neptune Suite Personal Space, plus Alien vs Predator Furniture and more!

Countries: , , , ,

I’ll start out today by confirming that the Ghostbusters Firehouse personal space, which we previously announced two weeks ago, will be releasing this week. In addition to the Firehouse, we’ll also have some Ghostbusters items in the store to help you get started decorating and movie-making. Here’s the rundown on the space from the 31st March blog post:

This space consists of three floors packed full of furniture and decorations, not least of which is your very own Ecto-1. The Ghostbusters Firehouse comes complete with movie props and portable blue screens that will be perfect for creating your own machinima movies. Just make sure you have your eyes open in case of any supernatural activity

So now onto the content for Thursday’s update that you aren’t aware of yet! Top of the list is the Neptune Suite personal space. Situated deep under water, this space comes complete with the multiplayer Blast Zone mini-game, and the rather puzzling Scramble. You’ll find the Neptune Suite in the new “plus” section of Home Estates, which indicates personal spaces with additional functionality. We’re also releasing a collection of things to wear on your head, such as horns and elfin ears.

Check out the Furniture store this week for our second release of Alien vs Predator content. This week we’ve got three pictures that can be hung in your personal space, along with the amazing face hugger display unit. Remember: the Alien vs Predator content will only be purchasable for a limited time!

PlayStation Home

This week will also see the release of the SOCOM OPFOR game space. Here you’ll be presented with a mini-game to assemble an assault weapon, with a special reward waiting for the most skilled players. Those who can successfully complete the assembly in under 12 seconds will receive an exclusive fully-playable Golden AK-47 for use in SOCOM: Confrontation. The space also features a highly addictive 5-Finger Fillet mini-game and leaderboards.

PlayStation Home

Finally, visit the Resident Evil space this week where we’ve got 22 new shirts available, spread evenly between male and female.
