Introducing Episode 2 Of FirstPlay

Countries:

FirstPlay

Hello again everyone,

First of all I’d like to say a massive thanks to everyone who tried episode 001 last week, and for all the feedback we’ve received. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and as we learn what all the shiny FirstPlay knobs and buttons do, it’ll only get better from here.

And just to prove it, episode 002 will be up on the Store from this Thursday (15th), featuring a review of Super Street Fighter IV alongside previews of explosive racer Split/Second: Velocity and dog ‘em up Dead To Rights: Retribution. We’ve also got another packed set of Network Highlights – including a countdown of your best FIFA goals – and a first look at Shinji Mikami’s new shooter Vanquish in our screenshot galleries.

FirstPlay

This all comes at our regular, cheaper-than-a-posh-packet-of-biscuits price of 99p (or £8.99 for a 90-day subscription). And to make the deal even sweeter, this week we’re giving away a full minis game worth £2.49. Not to bang on or anything, but that’s pretty awesome.

And lastly – we’d love to hear from you guys. To tell us what you think of the latest episode, or to let us know about ace LittleBigPlanet levels, FIFA goals or Just Cause 2 videos you think we should feature, please email us at FirstPlay@futurenet.com or on Twitter at @firstplay_uk.

Everybody’s Tennis Out For PSP This Summer!

Countries: , , , ,

Hi Guys!

Its Joey here. I’m really excited to let you know that we will be releasing Everybody’s Tennis for PSP in Summer 2010!

This summer take a holiday from the football World Cup and enjoy a world of tennis squeezed, courtesy of PSP, into your pocket.

The first step is to ditch the whites as Everybody’s Tennis lets your creativity run free and your own style shine through.

Everybody's Tennis

Everybody's Tennis

Develop your own quirky character with more than 500 different customisable items making this a totally personal experience; then set off on your journey to superstardom. It’s easy to pick up and play but offers loads of subtlety that will only come with time and practice.

The advanced shot system is for the true pro letting you place, volley, drop or smash your way to victory whilst every court has its own physics which will shape your match-winning strategy.

Everybody's Tennis

Everybody's Tennis

Getting to pro standard sees you embark on your new career as you search out new courts across the Everybody’s Tennis world map and work your way up, and down, the ranks.

Everybody's Tennis

Each new area comes with a set of intriguing tasks to complete before you are invited on court to take on the best players the region has to offer. Look out for hidden items on the court to pass onto other characters and help you progress. Success moves you up the ladder where the challenges become more difficult and the competition more unusual – this is more than just match-play, this is living and learning on the circuit.

Everybody's Tennis

And when it’s all just a bit too much kick back, avoid early burn-out and play with up to three of your friends in multiplayer mode. Everybody’s Tennis is available for PSP-3000 and PSPGo this Summer.

Enjoy the trailer and see you on the court!

Hamsterball Coming This Week

EnglishSelect a Language:

Countries: , , , ,

Hi PlayStation world! This is Howard Lehr from TikGames, here to let you know about our newest game Hamsterball. (Eep!). We had a great time making it for you, playing against our co-workers, friends, family, the guy we saw out the window waiting for the bus who was wearing a RUSH T-shirt (we lured him into our office on the premise that we had a fresh supply of donuts). Hamsterball is a blast and it’s time now to share it with the world. We hope you will love it as much as we do!

What is Hamsterball? Well, imagine if both Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball were to meet a cute and unsuspecting hamster who’s out for a leisurely roll in his ball. This is the most frenzied race to the finish line he’ll ever run, guaranteed!

Hamsterball offers a ton of great game modes, including 2 player split screen, 7 player sumo and a whole bunch of single player levels. Oh yeah….we’ve got many unlockables, and Trophies too! (We just looooove Trophies.) No more worries about cleaning the cage or middle-of-the-night escapes, only to find your hamster hiding under your laundry pile. Hamsterball offers all the fun of hamster racing, without the bummer of hearing your mom (GF, SO, BF, wife, roommate, etc.) bark at you to tidy up Mr. Stinky’s cage!

Hamsterball will be available for £7.99/€9.99 on the PSN Store on April 15th.
