So, today’s historic occasion has arrived; the first Wednesday store update. I didn’t go overboard with the goodbyes to Thursday updates last week, because it was just so sad, I was on the verge of breaking down. It’s all about looking forwards to the shiny new store update day instead.
To celebrate this ‘kick-ass’ occasion, ahem, we have available the game version of the comic and film hit, Kick-Ass (please note, whilst this initial release is for the English language stores only, all other locales will be getting it released in due course). We also have two other full games available this week in the form of Anarchy: Rush Hour and Feeding Frenzy 2, whilst for PSP users you’ll be able to get to grips with R-Type Tactics.
We also have two massive demos for you this week, for the forthcoming titles UFC Undisputed 2010, and Split/Second: Velocity, and we also have the first expansion for the PSN exclusive title Burn Zombie Burn!, and it’s set in space, what more do you need? ![]()
Finally; The Stimulus Pack is here! Not sure if you’ve heard of this? Of course you have, who am I kidding? For those of you who have been itching to get your hands on the new maps for the multiplayer experience of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, now is your chance.
Throw into the mix the Flower soundtrack, a new episode of FirstPlay, new themes and avatars, and more add-ons, and that’s your first Wednesday update.
Let me know how that grabs you in the comments section as usual.
Cheers.

Oh Mike, I fear the comments are gonna be bad today
Still glad to see R-Type Tactics show up, although it could do with being €5 cheaper.
Not a bad update

Posted on 5 May, 2010 at 12:05 pm by elhozzo3
was hoping for some extra-special special offers to celebrate the move to Wednesdays … I mean, having 4 of the 5 special offer PS3 slots taken by LBP costumes sucks a bit …
especially looking at the USA store, and the current Pixeljunk promotion … Mike, I remember before xmas you commented there could be a PJ offer in Jan .. what happened? is it coming ?
and the PJ Shooter demo would be nice ..
not to mention, it must be time for offers on WipeOut Fury pack, Motorstorm PR packs, GTI Club, Zombie Apocolypse etc …
still, not bad update….

Nothing for me again… Because the MW2 map pack is way to expensive. Do you agree Mike?
And a question: Do you know anything about Lead and Gold coming to The Netherlands?

Split Second demo for me and a belly laugh at anyone who buys the MW2 map packs.
If you want a price drop people DON’T BUY THEM!
31
Posted on 5 May, 2010 at 12:07 pm by sephiroth180
For anyone asking about the price for the MW2 map pack, no it’s not a joke, Activision (being the greedy jerks they are) are charging that much for that map pack!

Oh dang, I forgott. Wensday is the day
Great updates. Was it wensdays or fridays back in the good old days the store updated?
I remember one time where Norway didn’t get anything for 4 weeks.
I’m getting all nostalgic.

Posted on 5 May, 2010 at 12:08 pm by mn9ajas
Wow this weeks update is like a box of ferrero rocher!
We think that ‘you are really spoiling us’ but then when we actually bite into this weeks update it’s nothing more than a manky chocolate with stale wafer around, with these sort of nutty things that get stuck in your teeth for ages!!
Come on bring out Peggle, Calling all cars and the likes for PSP rather than this trash. Oh yeah and don’t think that we’ve forgotten that there is STILL no PES for Go users!!
34
Posted on 5 May, 2010 at 12:08 pm by Roxas598

Posted on 5 May, 2010 at 12:09 pm by dgnfly

Hi Mike.
Lately, somehow forgets to PSP.
Just look at the U.S. store and get me wrong.
I do not understand why so much store in the U.S. PS1 games and the EU there are so few.
Not to mention, and PSP games.
Please specify to me a little picture.
Sorry for my eng.

I want more than 2 RBN tracks. Stop screwing us over SCEE. Your mistake last week for not processing them in time and now you continue to screw us.
