This Week On The SingStore (19 May 2010)

Hello, i am in the ‘King of Singstar team’ (french) and its a shame that one update more, there are no french songs! We are the most interested SingStar independant team, and we have nothing! There are a lot french songs that they are very easy to obtain the rights…. a lot are in the vote list we send to you every month! It’s impossible that they are all hard to have!
we are all very disapointed for the french songs.

Also going to get U2 and ABC and a few of the No Doubt’s when they’re split in a few weeks time

I know I’ve asked about Alphabeat before, but as they are on Polydor now (which La Roux is also and we’ve got her songs), any chance for the more recent ones ? Also could 10,000 Nights be on the US store like Fascination and Fantastic 6 is, I’ve got the ‘pop’ disc now but I’m sure out US friends would like to download it..

My super-awesome Australian artist recommendation for the week is pop artist Cassie Davis. Her first three singles (“Like It Loud”, “Do It Again” and “Differently”) all went Gold in Australia in 2009, and all seem perfect for SingStar.

Don’t worry fojero, worldwide means available in the US as well. All of these songs should be available for us in Europe.

I’ve got a few requests for you. I’ll start with my own. Will there be any Dannii Minogue or Faithless available on the SingStore anytime soon?

I know a lot of people are asking for SingStar: Glee but instead of that, how about trying to get the rights for the original recordings instead of the Glee versions? I imagine that would avoid the licensing nightmare of getting the Glee versions.

Now onto requests by friends and family. If you don’t ask, you don’t get after all but bear in mind, some of the requests were made by people who I now worry about:

No Doubt is a must… It’s a pity I can’t re-download my purchased songs to my PS3 Slim from the Italy Singstore… The phone number I got didn’t work

nothing for me this time… or the update before that to be honest :S Most peeps I know won’t get this stuff either Will we ever see Paloma Faith or Michael Bublé? Or 4 Minutes by Madonna?
You Delivered Boys and Girls by Pixie Lott (which I thank you for!)
You also gave us the gift of Man Who Can’t Be Moved by the Script (thanking you again!). Surely a song from Bublé or Paloma faith would rack up more downloads than Rain by Mika!, that song is ultrasound and quite annoying I might add

so only 3 tracks for the US? Why is it so hard to license songs for the US store? I would easily have at least 3 songs and the No Doubt pack from this update but they are not available.

Cool, it’s nice to know that something is being attempted.

There are some great songs in the EU store and I know there is a work around to purchasing them but it would be better if I could just buy them the right way.

Good songs this time will be adding a few to the collection (can you get a bigger than 500gb hdd for a ps3?)and I won’t ask again for the 2 songs i really really want as I’m sure you have them on your list and that they will be included in good time. On another note, My Lovely Horse is still copping a flogging (pun intended) at my house and I was wondering what was the chance of there being more comedy songs included on the store? My suggestion would be some Flight Of The Conchords – they would be pretty popular in AUS, NZ and the US at least.

Well I have a question that i wanted to ask a long time: is there any possibility for us to see japanese and korean pop songs on singstore ??? I know it was released a singstar edition with j-pop songs for PS2 but its not available anymore

She is my favourite song and it will be a excellent present for me if u add this song to the singstore! I’m waiting so long for and she still not here
But it was a very good success for you too, at the singstore, because don’t forget she was a long time number 1 in usa and other countries in 1976-1977! All people in the world know this beautiful song!
(if u can too add a songpack EAGLES with this song, it will be better )
