I was going to enter this until I realised I had to sign up to Facebook to do so – guess I won’t bother then!

Exactly, Facebook…ugh…
Why not do a promotion here on the blog, or on the official Playstation website?

I trust facebook as much as I trust Google (i.e. not at all). So not going anywhere near that. Still, it leaves squillions of other people with a chance to enter so you know, I guess we’re in the minority.

Maybe because facebook is fraking everywhere? You can even set your PS3 trophy activities to be updated on facebook, not to mention the “LIKE” feature spread out on some/most of the most popular sites. I think the LIKE button is excellent btw makes sharing good news to friends super simple & easy.

Forgot to ask is this promotion just for ps3 bloggers or is it for everyone?.If not just for bloggers why post about it?.If yes then why use facebook? Surely everyone who has a psn id should be able to enter.

It’s for everyone – it’s a Sony Pictures promotion that they asked us to help them promote. And being Sony partners, we agreed.

lol @ pilotguy08
I think some of us would rather not have our information exploited by the Facebook staff’s negligence towards security.
But hey, enjoy having your personal info given out for free to advertisers and nasty scam artists

Nothing wrong with having a FB account. It’s a decent way to keep in touch with people (lots of people check FB more than they do e-mails so it’s just easier). I don’t see the point in Twitter but Facebook ain’t all that bad. Better than Myspace anyway.
Either way, I probably won’t enter.
