If you watch TV which I have a feeling most of you do then you will have probably heard the original a fair few times in an advert for a well known fruit juice drink.

Now with a bit of help from celebrated house producer Ashley Beedle and electro house gurus the Dominatorz this old Northern Soul classic has been updated for the dance floors of the nation and with it an awesome video that involves none other than a dancing granddad… I kid you not.

So if its electro house you like, make your way to the Dominatorz version and if it’s a little more traditional but still very danceable version you are after, make your way over to the Ashley Beedle edit.

Both videos will be available in all territories for your approval from 3PM on Thursday 20th May

The Ashley Beedle edit is already available to buy now and the Dominatorz and a host of other remixes will be able to buy from your favourite digital record store from the 11th of July

Chico – It’s England Time

It most certainly is! This has to be our year… Doesn’t it? And with Chico in our corner singing the masterfully adapted version of his hit single “It’s Chico Time” then I don’t think there is much chance we can lose it! A little optimistic maybe but we have to believe don’t we?

We have the exclusive play of this video which has celebrities a plenty in the form of none other than Christopher Biggins, Bill Oddie, Bianca Gascoigne, Bruno Brookes, Cheryl Baker and many many more.

According to the press release this track will be “Embedded into the minds of every England supporter” I tend to agree… whether they like it or not

We’re bringing you a brand new minis experience this Thursday, with the latest PlayStation Home event. Make your way to the top level of the brand new “The Observatory” space, where you can challenge a friend to a duel of memory, wits and a little luck. Enter into a minis duel, competing over a board consisting of a grid of glowing, face-down tiles. Flip the tiles over to reveal a variety of minis titles; reveal two matching tiles to score a point. Sounds simple? The fun starts with random tiles hiding bonuses or traps, such as a tile that steals points from your opponent. You can even hide traps of your own, hoping to catch out your opponent. Beware, though: they may shuffle the board and your own trap could catch you out!

In true minis fashion this simple concept is fiendishly addictive, so don’t forget to drag yourself away to explore the rest of The Observatory. The futuristic pool-like game FreezeBall returns exclusively to the minis event space. Browse the latest minis titles, available for purchase and download for PS3 and PSP. Winners of the minis duel will be rewarded with a minis neon light for their personal space. This is an event not to be missed!

More of the very popular LucasArts content arrives this week! We’ve got more Star Wars, as well as a delightful selection of Indiana Jones costumes and furniture items. Kicking off the Star Wars list is the fantastic Obi-Wan costume, consisting of Tunic and Armour, Hair, Beard and Gloves (also available as a bundle). For your personal space there will be three posters – Rex, Anakin, and Yoda – for your walls, along with three Clone Helmets on display stands. To top it all off there’s a Homing Spider Droid prop and AT-ST statue!

Hey everyone, me again. A massive thank you to Pauline who did a sterling job looking after the weekly updates in my absence. The team have certainly been busy recently and I’ve trained two new publishers this week already. Exciting times, but what of this weeks highlights?

Having delivered Kick Ass and Powers, Icon continue to send us awesome comics. This week sees the release of both Criminal and Incognito written by Ed Brubaker (The Death of Captain America) and art by Sean Phillips (Marvel Zombies). Incognito is described as the most insane and evil super-villain comic you’ll ever read. The comic deals with former villain Zack Overkill, who is in the Witness Protection Program after giving testimony against The Black Death. Zack is required to take a drug that eliminates his super abilities and given a job delivering mail in an office.

Trying to escape the boredom of a normal life, Zack experiments with illegal drugs. It quickly becomes obvious they interfere with the power-blocking drug and he once again has his super strength. He begins wearing a mask again and searches for action in the streets and back alleys acting as a vigilante rather than a super-villain to avoid being arrested for violating his parole agreement. A great read.

From IDW we have more Star Trek and Transformers, plus a new series called Witch and Wizard: Battle for Shadowland based on James Patterson’s #1 novel. Oh and before you ask, we are still eagerly waiting for the next Locke & Key. The wait will be worth it though as they are doing something extra special for us…

Finally Insomnia release chapter 4 of the excellent Cancertown and Marvel release more Wolverine with work from legends Mark Millar and Steve McNiven.
