So what’s the line-up this week then on PlayStation Store? I’d say you’re in the right place to find out; shall we tuck in?
Planet Minigolf joins us this week, bringing its own style of golfing aesthetics to our fingertips, also offering customisation options as well as multiplayer modes; this certainly looks like something you could be sinking some time into (there’s also a demo available). On PSP, you can assume the role of a fighter pilot tasked with taking down a witch (yes you read that right) in Xyanide: Resurrection, a side-scrolling shoot ‘em up. For those who own both PS3 and PSP I direct to this lovely little oddity (can you guess where I’m going with this?), the multi-award winning sequel, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.
That’s not all though, there are plenty of other titles worth delving into; the full listing as always is below.
There is one more week to run on the current batch of Special Offers, and we’ve also got some further titles given the permanent price reduction treatment too.
As usual, I’ll be skulking around in the gloom of the comments section, and may pop my head out occasionally if needed.
Cheers.

Nothing for me this week but that’s ok cos I’m broke and I already got stuff to be playing but thanks for putting the Shatter soundtrack up. May get that next week.
Is the wednesday updates a permanent thing now? Hope so cos I’m out every thursday night at karate class so like having the evening free for new PSN stuff if available.
Still really wish regular PSP games could be played on PS3. You’d sell loads more surely.

That’s made my month.
See you on the green baize, chaps and chapesses.

It says Savage Moon: Hera Campaign is £3.19, but it was £3.99 last week in the special offers, has it suddenly been reduced again for the 2nd week (that would be annoying because I bought it), or is this an error above?
Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:29 pm by Mike Kebby
It’s a typo, that I forgot to correct this week too.

It’s nice to see that more avatars are becoming available. That being said, is there any plans for some WipEout avatars? I feel the ship logos would be quite stylish.

Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:33 pm by Mike Kebby
You really think there wasn’t work going on in the background between SCEE and the publisher?…We were liaising with the publisher ages ago about how to get their content onto all stores.

Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:09 pm by Dudley0Neill
Haaaaannnng on.
“Valhalla Knights
Now available in all locales except Australia, Germany and New Zealand.
Valhalla Knights 2
Now available in all locales except Germany”
So we in NZ can get number 2 but not number 1. Is it just me or is that just plain odd.
Speaking of which – Abe’s here – Awesome.
Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:34 pm by Mike Kebby
I agree it’s odd, but there will be specific reasons why.

Please more soundtracks!
I can only find the OST from Killzone 2 & inFamous on iTunes, but would prefer the PSN Store.

Not bad!
Any word on Grandia coming over Mike?
I’ll have to make sure I pick up that Magic Orbz bundle pack before the price offer runs out.
Just one last question. Would be great if you could comment, will Sony ever launch PS2 games on the PSN? It has arguably the best games on any platform and I just think you guys are missing out on a big opportunity with it. Especially if you could bring over previously only US releases same would go for PS1 US titles as well.
Again would be cool to hear your thoughts.

Wooo snooker !!!
Any word on when the firstplay thingy will come to .nl?

Brilliant again Mike, great to see some PS1 Classics again! Now if you could get Tomb Raider 1-3 up there sometime I’d be so happy! Is there still no word on if we’ll get them?

36
Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:11 pm by Espiox
@rangwald: The last two games aren’t being made. The story will be finished on the PA website, but the first two games are the only two now.
37

Planet Minigolf! Hallelujah! Thank you very much Michael!
Planet Minigolf + Snooker DLC + FirstPlay = awesome update.
Only thing that would have made this better was the avatars the US got last week. Any updates on those, surely there is no localisation needed on a picture? If you give us an update I promise to never call you Michael again
Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:38 pm by Mike Kebby
Nobody calls me Michael…apart from my mother…stop it
It’s not about localisation with avatars, it’s about making sure they work with all online cards that take your PSN ID information, websites, and the PSN itself when they are used on a PSN ID
That being said, if avatars are not submitted to us as well, then we don’t get them. I’m hoping we’ll eventually get all the avatars we have yet to see release over here.

Any news on record of agarest war for europe?
any news would be great.
44
Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:14 pm by KylieDog
Still no Street Fighter avatars? When we finally get them we better get all the ones the US has at once, delaying them for Europe them trickling them out over weeks is insulting.
I think you made a typo on the Toy Story 2 price also, its at least £2 too high. £5+ for a PS1 classic? Really?
Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:39 pm by Mike Kebby
No typo there.

Mike, can you give an opinion on Numblast, Have you played it?
Oh and is there any chance we’ll see some Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy Avatars?, I was thrilled to get the Uncharted 2 ones last week. First time I changed my avatar in over a year lol.
Posted on 2 June, 2010 at 12:40 pm by Mike Kebby
I haven’t played it no, sorry. Puzzlers and RTS games are really the only genres of game I’m not too keen on.
