So what’s the line-up this week then on PlayStation Store? I’d say you’re in the right place to find out; shall we tuck in?
Planet Minigolf joins us this week, bringing its own style of golfing aesthetics to our fingertips, also offering customisation options as well as multiplayer modes; this certainly looks like something you could be sinking some time into (there’s also a demo available). On PSP, you can assume the role of a fighter pilot tasked with taking down a witch (yes you read that right) in Xyanide: Resurrection, a side-scrolling shoot ‘em up. For those who own both PS3 and PSP I direct to this lovely little oddity (can you guess where I’m going with this?), the multi-award winning sequel, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.
That’s not all though, there are plenty of other titles worth delving into; the full listing as always is below.
There is one more week to run on the current batch of Special Offers, and we’ve also got some further titles given the permanent price reduction treatment too.
As usual, I’ll be skulking around in the gloom of the comments section, and may pop my head out occasionally if needed.
Cheers.

Hi Mike,
Two questions if you please
Will we ever see Metal Slug anthology or Jean D’Arc on the Euro PSN ?
And secondly, I really want a PSPGo, I love the PSP and really like the idea of the Go (maybe I’m in a minority but I like the size and convenience) but it’s overpriced and more importantly I can’t get the games I want for it, either they’re only available on other regions or they just don’t exist as downloadable. This is a serious shortcoming, why would I get a system that can’t get the content that regular PSP’s users ca ? So my question is whether Sony will ever address this ? Will we ever see all UMD available games available as downloadable, other wise whats the point of the Go ? and also whats the problem, why can’t this be done…really please can you answer that, why can’t you make all UMD content downloadable ?!?!?!
Hoping for some answers and thanks again,
sneachta

@ Mike
Ive checked the UK PSN Store via my PS3 and Media Go on my pc.
Valhalla Knights is not listed at all, anywhere, on either store.
Whether searching for the name, browsing through the PSP RPG/Action/Strategy sections on the store, or psp A-Z….. it simply does not exist.

Looks like someone is trying to mess with my head. It’s going live on the 16th of June instead…
…deep breaths, deep breaths
Apologies.

@ mike, thanks for clearing that up again.
any word on any upcoming downloadable rpg’s for the psp? (besides valhalla knights that is)
——————————————-
@ 303. im ‘hoping’ that sony will introduce a PS2 Classics range similar to the current PSOne Classics on the store.
There are many rpg’s on the PS2 (FF-X included) that i would love to download and play again.
We all know the PS3 is capable of emulating the PS2.

The store isn’t updating properly here in Portugal.
The new locale additions aren’t appearing except for Half-Minute Hero.
I tried both Innocent Life and R-Type Tactics and although they appear in the store, when clicked they just report that there isn’t any content for me.

Can’t find the Half Minute Hero demo on the store here in Belgium. Or can you only obtain it via PSP? I search for it on my PS3 (easier for me, I then load it on to the PSP once it’s downloaded)

I can’t believe people are putting off buying Toy Story 2 because they haven’t played Toy Story 1 >.<
There is no Toy Story 1 game, unless you want to go back to the SNES.
Besides it's a game based on the 2nd movie, not a sequel to the first game.

Hopefully someone could answer this…..I’ve already bought Badman 1 way back when it had its original title, but unlike Rocket Racing the minis title who’s name has changed to Aero Racers, in my download list it has changed to allow me to re-download it with its new name….but…Badman 1 hasn’t, its showing a ‘broken’ icon in my download list and when I re-download it, I get the ‘original’ Badman and not the remamed one, can anyone help? I was originally told that when I would re-download Badman 1 when it was made available again I would get the ‘new’ titled version.

Mike,
I’M ON MY KNEES AND BEGGING FOR CRISIS CORE, AND I DON’T BEG OFTEN!
But in all seriousness it is the last game that I’d like to be released on the store then I could die happy. Is there any news? And if there isn’t could you at least tell me if it’s ever going to happen? If it isn’t, let me down gently…

Hi Mike
Just quick message and a question, if u please?
The network is fantastic and the updates as much so… and really, REALLY enjoying the PS1 classics so thanks for the memories!
The question i want to ask is: are any Capcom survival PS1 games likely to ever make an appearance on the Euro network? eg. Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve…
Cheers again

Is there a reason for Half-Minute Hero still not showing up in the Dutch PS Store? Or are we suddenly thrown in Germany again?

Posted on 5 June, 2010 at 10:37 am by dgnfly
@Cyhwuhx
as most off tht time sony europe screwed up again and they got the wrong date that it was suppose 2 be released so i think the new date is the 16 to bad mike won’t confirm it completeky

This is a great update. Abe’s Exoddus and some price cuts are good for me
BTW, I was hoping some more PS1 classics would be popping up. Maybe games like Wild Arms or Rayman 2?
…please?
