It’s here! VidZone is ecstatic to announce Faithless are making concert history as they perform exclusively for VidZone for their first pay-per-view event on PS3 – live in standard and high definition!
On their last world tour Faithless performed to over 7 million people, proving they are one of the most successful and influential dance groups ever. To add to two number 1 albums and over 10
million records sold across the world, their 2010 album “The Dance” sees the return to the classic sounds of singles like “Insomnia”, “God Is a DJ” and “We Come 1″.
Faithless: Live In Concert shows eight exuberant musicians (including the legendary Maxi Jazz and Sister Bliss) captivating thousands of fans against a backdrop of massive special effects and lighting. The performance shows a diverse range of dance and reggae music, touching on poignant world issues in “Mass Destruction” and “Bombs” as well as upbeat anthems with “Not Going Home” and “Tweak Your Nipple”. A not to be missed event on PS3! We have also included an exclusive interview at the end of the concert.
So get ready to feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!
How do you get it? The video is available to rent from the Video Store of PlayStation Store NOW! You can go straight there as you normally would to buy any other video, or link from the banners from the VidZone application.

£4 to rent a video that I can easily watch on youtube in a couple of days? no thanks
If it came with something else (like a t shirt for Home), then I would have considered it

Hey LAClennell
I assure you you won’t be able to watch it on YouTube in a couple of days (It’s too long for a start) I assure you £4 is money well spent. To film and produce this costs quite a lot I’m afraid. It does look amazing in HD and Faithless are on top top form.
Go on… Give it a go. it will be worth it

Will you fix the problem with the ads any time soon? If you don’t know what I’m talking about: The song that is played before an ad is repeated after the ad and then immediately followed by another ad. I don’t mind having ads, but that’s just silly.
Posted on 17 June, 2010 at 5:16 pm by Ben Creasey
Hey Syroc
Can you give it another go please. It should all be fixed by now.
Can you email ps-problems@vidzone.tv if you are still having issues.

Does ChildLine really need to cater to those who succumb to exam pressure? Children are being beaten to death!

Might have to check this out, I’m a big fan of faithless.
@bodthekiller – I don’t think there’s much point posting about cross game chat here m8. I also don’t get the obsession with it tbh, I’d rather not have someone talking smack in my ear while I’m playing single player…lol

I’d love to get in on this, but unfortunately my connection is being quite troublesome as of late. So listening to Forever Faithless with headphones in the dark will have to do :p

Yes you heard me, I don’t know who they are. I play video games, I don’t watch kerrang or Q or whatever. I don’t even go on youtube for music vids
Vidzone to me is only good if you are doing housework, and you have have music that I like blasting though the house

Hey LAclennell
Fair enough if its not to your taste. If you want to check out them to see them to see if you like them though you should go over to VidZone and watch their videos. As Sully suggests… check out the track Insomnia, I reckon you will know it

So what’s the excuse for shafting the UK on price this time? VAT? The weak pound? The strong pound? Because experience tells us we can get away with it?

So… thsi is either overpriced in the UK or underpriced everywhere else. One or the other, because it certainly isn’t the same price everywhere.

€2.99 = £2.50 + VAT @ 17.5% = £2.92 and that’s with the Euro currently taking a pounding (get it). So not that much of an issue unless of course the Euro prices also include the relevant countries VAT rates.
Is this the case? Anyone?

I watched the live videos that are up on Vidzone and wondered if the audio quality of those videos was representative of the audio quality of the chargeable download from the video store? The videos on Vidzone managed to make the live Faithless set sound awful and are nowhere near the quality of their two live DVDs which would make £3.99 for 48 hours seem even more ridiculous.
One thing I also wondered is, if you have a tracklist for the concert. 75 minutes (including the interview) is shorter than the average Faithless gig and it made me wonder what tracks didn’t make the cut and why.
