That’s amazing! I’ve always dreamt of travelling the world, meeting every other James Gallagher. Weirdly, there’s a James Gallagher working at Sony Pictures and I often get emails meant for him. Just last week I got one asking for a rating for a film I probably shouldn’t know about.

If anyone reads this, can you help me? My girlfriend is at a wedding and I’m going to spend the day clutching a DUALSHOCK. I’m in the mood for trying one of the dozens of games that were sent to me that I didn’t have time to play and I’m torn between Fight Night Round 4, Darksiders and Devil May Cry 4… what would you do?

I dunno… what’s your tea like? I am erring towards Darksiders but now people on Twitter are saying DMC 4… I’m actually having a couple of bouts on Fight Night now to eliminate that from the quandary and will then sit down and blast through one of the other two.

Hey James
welcome !
What happens when there’s an adult movies actor called James Gallagher ? You’ll be getting weird stuff then lol
Posted on 17 July, 2010 at 1:10 pm by James Gallagher
I think it would be a pretty boring name for an adult movie star… this would be much better: http://bit.ly/9C509q

Devil May Cry 4 is the only game out of those that appeal to me so I would vote that!
Once you get over the slight disappointment of not playing as Dante from the beginning it’s quite enjoyable – it makes getting to the part where you DO play Dante all the more sweeter though! Man, I wish Capcom would hurry up and announce Devil May Cry 5 – it’s been a long old while since we’ve had any Dante love.

I’ve completed it already!

I hope it’s not her own weeding:P Kidding a side.
It was nice to hear the Minis devs want trophies to be added. I understand that trophies won’t be added to the PSP (sadly). Is it possible to only enable trophies for the PS3 versions? I’d definitley buy some more Minis if they came with trophies.
Also liked the post where we could say what games we wanted to be part of PlayStation Plus. And the store update with Deathslap.
Posted on 17 July, 2010 at 1:08 pm by James Gallagher
PSP trophies is a popular request but I don’t have the power or the knowledge to say whether they are in the plans or not. I’ll tell James Thorpe that you liked his post though and he might cook up another.

First, congrats on the new job James.
Second, go watch Inception.
Third, if you can’t watch Inception, out of those options, I’d say Darksiders. Though I do agree with Bullucks, Joe Danger demands some love. That is all
Posted on 17 July, 2010 at 1:13 pm by James Gallagher
Is Inception good? My colleague Barry was raving about it.

Easily Devil May Cry 4 James!
It’s a shame that it doesn’t have trophies, but it is such an awesome game that it deserves a playthrough
I really enjoyed Darksiders too, but unfortunately nothing beats Dante

Fight Night R4 is a gorgeous looking game though. Well worth booting that up. But Devil May Cry is superb as well.

A good week on the blog, James
I must say i enjoyed the live chat and the friday debate. Looking forward to seeing what else you bring
Posted on 17 July, 2010 at 1:39 pm by James Gallagher
Thanks! I’m really pleased with how both of those went so I reckon they’ll be regulars from now on. Live chats are trickier, for obvious reasons, but I’ve put the feelers out and *might* try and do another next Thursday. Also got another regular feature coming that you’re going to LOVE!

I’m looking forward to the post next week about the new Blog features! I’d say play Darksiders, although I might purchase Joe Danger today.. or sit down with Ms. Croft for a bash of Tomb Raider 1

Inception, is awesome. The reviews and Barry are raving about it for good reason. Watch it =] It trips with your mind, but in a good way.

Fight Night Round 4! Although, I am biased – I worked on that game
Posted on 17 July, 2010 at 1:40 pm by James Gallagher
Great! I really like Fight Night – I’d say it’s my favourite beat ‘em up, if you can call it that. Please tell me you were in charge of sweat.

Great week, mainly cos I went to see Karate Kid thanks to you guys at Sony
And if you’re dishing out jobs James, I’d like to point out that when the Karate Kid blog post with my review goes live I’ll have some experience in the field

Don’t care much for Fight Night or Devil May Cry. Darksiders was pretty cool though I didn’t appreciate it at the time cos I bought God of War III at same time and it’s hard to compete with that.

Yeah I was up till midnight trying to get the hotel internet to work so I could send it but it was being difficult, so I had to wait until I got home the next day, apologies!
But I had a great time thank you very much, if you ever fancy sending me to a couple more premieres I’m sure I could squeeze it in

Hi James,
I wouls suggest Darksiders as well it is a very good game. Do you have the slim or the older machines?
As the older machines have a problem with you exi the game, it beeps 3 times and resets the machine. It scares me every time. I am not sure the slim does that as well. May be it is something to look into.
Secondly will there be a Sony conference at Gamescom this year?

Part 1 of the LEGO Harry Potter – Behind the scenes appears to be missing from the Europe Store. Parts 2 and 3 are available. It would also have been nice to have a HD download of the E3 2010 press conference available if possible.
