Hey my name is Rob Karp, if you are interested you can check out previous posts I’ve written on Hustle Kings, but today I am here to discuss bloody entrails…
Following on from the Dead Nation’s latest showing at E3, we thought it might be nice to show off a little bit more of the game before the gamescom event in Cologne. And after plenty of discussions with the team, we decided to show how the undead weren’t always that way. As you’ll see from the trailer below, when the transformation from human to zombie occurs, the dirt-ridden, shambling corpses still retain some essence of humanity.
Now that you have seen baseball zombies you might be wondering what other varieties of flesh eater Dead Nation has to offer and, while there are plenty more, you’re going to have to wait until Gamescom to find out.

This game is looking great, I can’t wait for it to come out – any chance of bumping that Oct-Dec 2010 release date forward a bit?

Whilst this game looks great, and I have a lot of faith in the developers after the liquid gold that was Super Stardust HD, what’s going to either make or break my purchase in this game is the level layouts…
if they’re campaigns, ala Left for dead, they’ve got a definite purchase from me.
If it’s another arena based zombie massacre, ala zombie apocalypse, burn zombie burn, etc, then I’ll not be parting with any cash… the arena style game is over-saturated and I need something fresh (ok… the zombies don’t have to be fresh, but the gameplay does!)
I’d even concede a purchase if the levels are arenas but big enough to warrant exploration, ala Killing Floor/ Red Orchestra.
anyone know what the score is?

I can tell you that this is level based!
