Hi guys,
How does this sound?
We fly you and a friend to gamescom in Cologne, Germany on the 17th August. We give you exclusive access to the Sony Computer Entertainment press conference. And then we give you tickets to the gamescom 2010 show for 2 days, book you into hotel while you’re there and then fly you home on the 20th August.
And if that’s not enough, we’ll also give you the hardware you need to create your very own blog post to tell everyone all the great stuff you saw at the show. Thanks to VAIO and Sony Electronics you will also get a brand new, ultra portable VAIO P-Series laptop and an amazing Sony bloggie HD camera, perfect for capturing and uploading all your favourite moments.
Two runners up will win a Sony bloggie HD camera.

All you have to do is email us a 150-300 word review of your favourite PlayStation game on PlayStation 3, PSP or PlayStation Network.
It’s that simple! The winners will be picked by a professional creative director, who will be looking for the most original, entertaining and interesting game reviews.
Send your entries to competition-UK@uk.playstation.com and include your name, address, date of birth, and phone number.
Competition is open now but closes at 11.59pm on Tues 3rd August so make sure you send your review before then to be in with a chance to win this amazing prize worth well over £1,500.
All entrants must be over 18 and please read the full T’s & C’s carefully.
So to recap, the winner of this amazing prize will get –
- Flights and transfers to and from Cologne, plus accommodation for you and a friend.

Coincidentally, I did a Warhawk review too! Just sent it in – hopefully you guys will like it! Don’t know about entertaining, but I think it was pretty informative.

That’s the German winner, anyway, so they must be calling up everyone who won at this stage across all regions. I haven’t got a call, so by now, I suppose I should just give up. Woke up this morning with a good feeling, so I thought “Maybe. Maybe I’ll get a call today?” No dice, it seems.

That’s not right, MimoSX. If you look back to James’ reply to comment 21, (coincidentally Fantatier’s!
), he says there is one winner each for UK/Ireland, France, Germany and Spain, and two runners up for each region too.
At this stage, though, chances seem to look slim. Most likely, the actual winners are probably too excited to be posting here. I’m happy for them, though.

just a quick heads up from Cologne.
press conference was pretty cool
and the convention is too so far.
just came off playing move gladiators and table tennis and it does grow on one after we where not entirely overwhelmed yesterday evening.
these games seem much more prescise than the games we tried out on the press event yesterday.
and diablo 3 looks and plays awesome, plese sony/blizzard make it happen that i can play in on my ps3 ^^
