We’ve been able to team up with Lionsgate to give one of our UK readers and a friend the chance to attend the premiere of The Expendables in London on 9 August 2010. If you haven’t heard of this movie, it’s basically the action movie equivalent of a fantasy football team. Here’s a description and the trailer.
Return to your action roots this summer as legend of cinema Sylvester Stallone takes you on an explosive adventure of a lifetime with The Expendables. Modern day action heroes Jason Statham and Jet Li join forces with Mickey Rourke alongside timeless heroes Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren and Arnold Schwarzenegger to make the cinema a dangerous place to be this August.
Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Ludgren will be there too and we’ll even throw in a PlayStation 3 for the winner to take home with them. Simply head over to eu.playstation.com and answer a simple question to be in with a chance.
*Just please note that the prize includes tickets only so you will have to be able to get to London on the evening of 9 August. Here are the full terms and conditions.

I think this should no long be called blog.eu.playstation.com
They should just change it the official UK blog and be done with it. 90% of the posts dont even seem to have anything to do with people outside of the UK anyways.

That’s an exaggeration – I don’t enjoy excluding people from things like this but, in this case, we had the choice between doing it in the UK or not at all.

Good feedback – I want to be as inclusive as we can be.
Alsmost ALL contests we have had after that were for just a few or even one country (and also include updates about video stores, comic stores, content differentces in the store for different countrys etc).
So when is this realy going to change?
Don´t tell me it is hard or difficult. Thats why people have jobs, to sort things out. And don´t tell me it´s the business model that it chosen (like we here when the lack off plus content or the lack of store content compared to the US is talked about. If it is the business model it´s the wrong one and you should change it (or urge your bosses to do so).
I payed 600 euro for my PS3 and I expect the same content and service as everyone else nothing more but also nothing less!

Everyone complaining about it not being avaiable to your country; these are tickets to a premier in LONDON. It wouldn’t make sense to do it in places other than the UK.
Quit your whining

@almighty-slayer
You know it is holiday season for those who go to school?
You know people who work can take a (couple) day(s) off?
It is not like there is a big wall around the UK saying “do not enter” or “trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again” or something…

@13 Maybe the holidays but what about flights? Will there be flights? Then their is accommodation and when there is a premiere i am pretty sure the accommodation will be full at that time, maybe you end up having no money to pay for accommodation or the flight and then the ticket will go to waste.

“Don’t you have some tea and biscuits to eat or something?”
Go eat your pickled fish and salt liquorice while we enter the competition, kthxbai.
I do think there should be a UK Blog though. Then the rest of these guys can feel free to enter competitions and the like for their own countries (Only to cry some more when A SINGLE FILM PREMIERE can only be shown in A SINGLE MOVIE THEATER and start calling for a Dutch PS Blog or Finnish PS Blog or whatever) while us UKers can enjoy our own blog.
