yeah finally holland can enter a competition to!

vicheous 3 August, 2010 @ 2:07 pm   2

No Norway or Sweden!! :-(

I already reached level 5. But then I deleted the demo and the save game. Am I still ‘in’ the competition?

    James Gallagher 3 August, 2010 @ 2:10 pm

You’ll only be entered if you download the demo again and reach level 5 one more time from tomorrow.

GodfathernielsNL 3 August, 2010 @ 2:12 pm   4

lauw heur

Thanks James!

Keiician 3 August, 2010 @ 2:12 pm   6

Quick question – can I download the demo today and just wait with playing until tommorow?

    James Gallagher 3 August, 2010 @ 2:44 pm

I would wait until 5pm tomorrow, when the competition officially opens, to download the demo. Don’t worry, you have until 25 August to get to level 5 and submit your entry.

Off I go to the store, pfft and people say I’m a ranker….

VictorAnalogy 3 August, 2010 @ 2:15 pm   8

I’m around level 3ish, but I downloaded when the demo was pushed to me via PS+.

Do I need to re-download or just hit level 5?

That’ll be the incentive I need to build a new drive :-D

play games = win a car

this works for me on multiple levels :)

where’s Belgium? :(

BAZ1307 3 August, 2010 @ 2:22 pm   12

LOL, this feels kinda stupid considering I already have the full game, enjoy it a lot and play it all of the time. :P

But anyway, I will still download the demo and get to rank 5, I couldn’t miss out on this competition, it would be a dream to have that as my very first car. :D

Also, my initials are BMW, just though you should know that. ;)

But but….I have the full game…lol.

So still gotta download the demo I take it?

ElWaster 3 August, 2010 @ 2:26 pm   14

Download the demo now? or from tomorrow?

AziatiK 3 August, 2010 @ 2:31 pm   15

GutsBerserker 3 August, 2010 @ 2:32 pm   16

I could use a new car I guess…;) Will do as told ASAP!

cant connect to any game though.

TalllPaul 3 August, 2010 @ 2:58 pm   19

What an awesome prize, take some cleaning in winter though lol

GutsBerserker 3 August, 2010 @ 2:58 pm   20

When we reach Level 5, will we get a message or something to tell us, that we successfully entered the competition?

johnleonhart 3 August, 2010 @ 3:02 pm   21

Wow, thats a fab competition. Bet you’ll be entering this one too rite James :P

I’m from Spain but on a vacation in a country that’s not listed and I get back on the 29 or 30, can I still enter the competition from here and use my spanish adress and account?

HawkeyePierce 3 August, 2010 @ 3:19 pm   23

TheMaxDaddy 3 August, 2010 @ 3:37 pm   25

Hi James
Another sweet competition. I posted the below text for the review cologne comp this morning. I’m sure you don’t have time to read through old posts so I’m submitting this again. Sorry its off topic:

I sent my review entry to the UK address, before I saw in the comments that there was a separate IE address. So I sent it to that address too. Will I get disqualified for a double entry (gigidy)? It’s the exact same review.

Any update on that unfortunate Kakka 3D TV competition incident?

    James Gallagher 3 August, 2010 @ 4:03 pm

That’s alright mate – send it over to the IE address and it will be counted. I’m afraid I didn’t hear anything back in time on the Kaka comp – I wasn’t a part of it, I was just asked to put something on the blog.

I waited ages to get online and it didn´t happen. So I deleted the demo and won´t buy it ever.

Rammstone 3 August, 2010 @ 4:37 pm   27

Why Denmark and not Sweden and Norway?

Not that I’m surprised or anything, we never get anything.

    James Gallagher 3 August, 2010 @ 4:47 pm

It’s an issue with local laws that we can’t get around when it comes to prize draws with an element of chance.

Sumanji 3 August, 2010 @ 4:50 pm   28

Sweet – my ol’ Mazda is getting a bit long in the tooth… I wouldn’t mind something German ;)

Ponkie_Slayer 3 August, 2010 @ 4:54 pm   29

Thats [DELETED] I would already be a level 5 if the damn demo let me play. I can’t now because my PS3 died 2 nights ago….

Liverpool101 3 August, 2010 @ 4:59 pm   30

I’ll be 18 just before the 25th August. Would you recommend that I wait until I’m 18 before I download the demo and get to Rank 5?

thank you for not including Italy, as usual.

nerdlegend 3 August, 2010 @ 5:10 pm   32

Wow that quite a cool idea

:D downloading time!!

ijeffers 3 August, 2010 @ 5:23 pm   33

So if I have the full game, downloading the demo will still make me eligable, yes?

European_Gamer 3 August, 2010 @ 7:28 pm   34

Hello James, I hope that you or someone else can answer this question because it’s rather importent.

Is registration tax included in the price?

killzonexx 3 August, 2010 @ 8:44 pm   35

@gamer why you think you gonna win?? and if you win give me the car i will pay the tax gladly

oldage9 3 August, 2010 @ 9:30 pm   36

Luxembourg, but no Belgium? that makes no sense whatsoever.

spatsnaz 3 August, 2010 @ 9:40 pm   37

Finland is in! That’s a rare treat.

Not Sweden? WHY!?

DoctorDSmiley 4 August, 2010 @ 12:05 am   39

Im going to pray that I win… This would make a great treat for my mum as her car got broken into on sunday.

Sp4reNL 4 August, 2010 @ 6:39 am   40

Thanks for it to be also available in the Netherlands James .

I’m going to make this easy for everyone:
I won’t participate. I already have a motorcycle :-D so I don’t need a car.

Thanks again and I’m sure someone will be very happy with the BMW :-).

Chmura_M 4 August, 2010 @ 11:15 am   41

Hi,
How to submit?

I just checked the PS Store and… there’s no Blur demo at all. Neither in PS3 -> Racing games, nor A-Z -> Demos.

I also can’t find any info on the PS EU competition page. Am I too late… or too soon?

Chmura_M 4 August, 2010 @ 12:12 pm   43

“ERROR

I get this message :(

i live in greece, when can i start downloading the demo?

@Gillir

Buahaha! :) So that’s why there’s no Blur Demo in the Polish PS Store. I hope it will be added ASAP otherwise that’s one (epic?) FAIL!

MonkD13 4 August, 2010 @ 1:49 pm   47

So why is South Africa & Australia, o yeah & New Zealand excluded 4rm this comp ????

We also use PS3 STORE

Pirate_fin 4 August, 2010 @ 1:54 pm   48

Nice Car :)

Kartana 4 August, 2010 @ 2:31 pm   49

As if the Demo didn’t have enough players already… We need more players in the RETAIL version of the game! Even before the competition there were 2000-3000 people online in the demo compared to roughly 300 in the retail game. This sucks! :(

Why is Belgium once again excluded from this competition?
