Fellow Patapon fans and fans-to-be,
Yes, it’s this time of the year again… gamescom is here again and we’ve all travelled to Cologne in Germany to be part of one of the coolest events this year and to present Patapon 3.
If you have a chance to be there, come see us at the PlayStation booth and march your Patapon army to the beat of your divine drums. Play with us or against us or other visitors for the ultimate ad-hoc multiplayer adventure.
Gamescom Show PlayStation Booth
Koelnmesse, Messeplatz 1, 50679 Cologne
Halle 7 (Booth Number: A011/A021/B011/B021)
In the meantime, for those of you who cannot be there with us (but everyone else, too, of course) we have a new trailer which we’d like to share with you:
Pata-pata-pata-pon!

I was addicted to patapon 1 when it first come out, didnt play part 2 though. Might get this one when its out.
If only PSP games could be played on PS3 systems i’d probably be more proned to playing it.

Why isn’t a version of patapon available to PS3 owners as a PSN title already?

How come at the end of the trailer, the PSP’s have trophies and the friend menu?
A better question – why are they superimposing the PS3 menu onto the PSP?

Hi Jimmirock
You got us there, well spotted! This is clearly a mistake. We’ll amend the bumper to display the correct XMB.

I wonder if they had the foresight to put in the ability to PAUSE THE GAME this time.

I don’t even care what the game is like, I’d buy anything Patapon related, lol. Good thing numero 3 looks great then!

I think that the PSP menu isn’t a screw up, I saw another trailer of a PSP game named “No more heroes” or something like that which also has a trophy support and friends list at the end. Maybe we will get a PSN firmware update that opens up the support of trophies and friends list.

Typo there, “No More Heroes” is a Wii game, mixed up xD, “No Heroes Allowed” is the correct title of the PSP game.
