Just a little word to shout about South African “New Age Hip Hop/Electro outfit” Locnville (pronounced Lokenvill for those of you who don’t already know). These guys completely rocked gamescom to its foundations and are set for something special so we decided we should give them a special artist spotlight feature.
We have feature footage that tells you all about the twins this week as well as the video for their first single “Sun In My Pocket” and next Thursday, 2 September, we have the footage from gamescom so you can see the foundations tremble for yourselves.
We are really interested to see what you think about these guys so get over to your PlayStation 3!

With your update today, the featured section is all messed up and the latest additions in the playlist menu hasn’t been updated

We’re having a few technical issues with the update today but not to worry, the VidZone hive is buzzing around to get it fixed as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Ben

VidZone needs more Passion Pit and less double and triple posted Depeche Mode Videos (but a more complete DM video list
).
Volume control would be nice too (not just the dynamic normalizer).

Duplicate videos should be disappearing all the time as we find them but if you’d like to help please email playstation@vidzone.tv
As for the volume control, what’s wrong with your TV remote?
Thanks,
Ben

I have stopped using Vidzone since the TV Channels came along, simply because when I use them, I can’t skip to the next video if a song I don’t like comes on. I used to like selecting a Featured Playlist, and watching the videos I liked and skipping those I didn’t.
Are there plans to allow us to use the skip/previous buttons? They are there in the controls menu, but always greyed out

@eatstatic – There are playlists in the On-Demand section still. On-Demand gives u all the functionality as before.

@sully1311 – Thanks, but I have tried the On-Demand section and my controls for moving through tracks are still greyed-out and the buttons don’t do anything. I have to sit through every track
I wonder if there is something wrong with my installation…

@eatstatic – there must be. Email ps-problems@vidzone.tv or reinstall VidZone if you don’t have any personalised playlists.

It is ironic that they are on Vidzone, yet we cannot get Vidzone in South Africa! – why not – too much greed from our local music companies?
