New PlayStation Plus Sign Up OFFER And Content For September And October

600 comments and 11 replies (3 of which were just about the Plus icon appearing on peoples avatars)…That’s a response rate of 1.83%!?!?!?!

And no apology or explanation for the delay to the Plus update or responses to multiple user questions about Plus related issues?!?!

Contrast to the Playstation Store guys – 395 posts and 73 replies gives a response rate of 18.48% (and they answer peoples questions and have a laugh as well).

That’s how to do it!

I wasn’t gona plan to subscribe again to plus but from the sam & max over I might subscribe for a year!

I now decided that I won‘t be renewing my sub, there is alien beta invites-only & Now i read today that LBP-2 will go into Beta this week.

Emails will be sent out this week to ppl that play on LBP the longest, that coming from MM themselves & sony buy em to be part of sony.

PLUS indeed Has FAILED Lack of Content look at scea 1st month. Lack of betas in fact Non-existence, if we do get a beta say LBP-2 like next week plus members will Not get 1st pickings.

YOU LIE TO US plain & simple “betas are comming” well it looks like LBP-2 is not 1 of em.

@ Skookie30 dont worry about beta’s, Dead nation is also in beta for a few, but we dont have it, and even if they give it, its not that exclusive like they try to make us believe.

i have a year subscription and TBH i dont care anymore about it anymore

i really lost trust in sony i see that more and more company’s dont care about there customers anymore but only about the money.

one example about lazyness is the plus icon problem they have

a multi-million dollar company but fixing something like this takes days

with 1% of there total income monthly i fix this icon problem in a day

they need to change the plus information for new subscribers its misleading information thats not correct at this time of day

no exclusive beta’s our demo’s, i can keep typing way more, but no’one care’s tho

i dont care about a lbp2 beta becuase i dont really like the game but like dead nation i do really ant to play that

I just signed up for plus and i can’t find anymwhere Ratchet & Clank for downloading…
Will it be available on the next days or am i just blind???

People [DELETED] about not getting betas should really think about it, to be a beta-tester requires you to sign a NDA, an agrement that tell you that you can’t tell anyone about what you are seeing or playing, how on earth should SCEE enforce that on all PS+ members?

PS+ members might get demo-betas, but the real betas should always be kept for those part of the SCEE beta-group or other closed groups that understand the NDA.

Each time the public has been invited to betas some stupid donkey has uploaded material to Youtube, no one wants their work exposed until they are ready, that’s the idea of having a betatester group, the idea is not to have their work leaked as fast as possible.

Thanks for not responding to my question about the value of plus to heavy store users and early adopters. I shall assume from the few replies given and subsequent lack of response, that this a ‘hit and run’ blog post with a few meaningless replies on the front page to create the impression of interaction to those who only read the first page.

Pretty weak for a premium service

My word, does anybody at PS+ ever read past the first 2 pages of comments? It doesn’t seem so, oh hang on, only to talk about a poxy + sign, this is not important, but I’m glad you put all your effort into that instead of what is important and answering your consumers questions, do we need to type the word [DELETED] and then report to moderator, just to get an answer to our queries? Pull your fingers out, as at the moment I don’t think that anyone who has bought and paid for the + service is more than 25% happy, especially those of us that paid for the year, and are then left trying to get answers to quite simple questons really, I have a few myself, which I will put below….again, but doubt anyone will bother to answer

1/. Bought PS+ on 29.06.10, didn’t get an update for July (service states every month an update) whats the excuse for this?

2/. Where are the Beta trials that we were supposed to get priority for?

There are several more, but can’t be arsed in wasting any more of MY time.

Also if you do give free movie rentals don’t take away anything that we already get, I personally don’t wish for or need free movie rentals, I pay sky for my movies and their all in HD which is better than you can offer at the moment with your limited supply.

I won’t hold my breath for any reply, as its been a good 10 pages since anyone there has read a comment

P.s. With all your work on the + sign here on the web, I did everything you said and it still doesn’t show, well done, time well spent…..genius

The thing is, when I posted that comment, it had a litle note saying…… Waiting to be moderated……. and now thats gone, and the comment is still there. Shocking business from what I thought was a reputable company.

I paid 400 DKR for my 1 year sub, haven’t been downloading anything sofar (exept LBP), simply because I had it all, this month I got Sam & Max (Cost 225 DKR), Themes (2 of those, not sure how much cost), 2 Avatars (2 DKR each), 2 Minis (25 DKR a piece) total at least 254 DKR, with the themes we proberly end up around 300 DKR, so basically in 1 month I have gotten my money worth.

Even if I don’t prolonge my subscription (which I would proberly do) I would still have played Sam & Max through and didn’t want to play it anymore (I have at least 30 PSN games I never play anymore)- so no matter how you look at it, I have gotten my money worth.

Yeah I already own most of what has been put up on plus so far, got sam & max this month (not sure about it yet, but generally like point and clicks), what I have found is that the mini’s are the best thing so far, oh and must admit MGS for 50%, one of the best PS1 games, I’ve probably already got my money back, and I know damn well, when it comes to renew next year I will, but it doesn’t excuse the lack of response from PS+ on these so called forum boards

but i aint atm, i dont care about themes, avatars, i dont care about ps one games, just due to the fact i have a ps3, and i want to play ps3 games, i want good graphics on my hd tv, so not having bad graphics from years back.

my main reason for plus was the Beta offer, but so far after 2-3 months i did not get one good beta, K&L wasnt a beta, it was a demo that sony delayed on purpose for non plus members.

so im not happy i want ps3 games and ps3 betas themes i can get from internet if i want

So when will the Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 demo become available? It says 8/9/10, is the new content usually out on the same day each week/month?

Wow i didnt expect this from Sony… I’m a 1 year subscriber and i got LBP which almost every Sony owner already had including me so i didnt buy Playstation Plus for that. And now Sony is giving out Ratchet and Clank to new 1 year subscribers but not the early ones how is that fair? I’m a one year subscriber i paid the same price as everyone else and i supported Sony by buying PS Plus when it first came out and now Sony turns it’s back on me! I’m really dissapointed.

I would like to see sony maybe incorporate a movie download in plus package, like a free rental a month type of thing, movies are available to download to i think this would be a good idea

it would b good if we had somethink like xbox send u a message on playstation + that would b exclusive also we need cross game chat as promised and if u already have content that has been put on ps+ u should b able to dicard the content so u cant download it but u earn playstation discount off sothink u do want or playstation plus points the higher price the game u dicard the more points u get to buy a game u want
