I agree, considering the fact that everyone who has been looking forward to KH BBS for years now get screwed by Square Enix, some of the blame on Sony, I think the only fair thing to do is giving us some sort of bright light to show us that you do care about us PSP Go owners.

Who in their right mind would buy a PSP Go? The new Kingdom Hearts game is UMD only! Plus it’s nigh impossible to play Monster Hunter on!
I’d almost rather have a Virtual Boy than one of these…

The pspGo is a solid piece of hardware, the only reason I avoided it is the lack of a normal usb output. Requiring a special cable (that I will lose) to transfer data seemed like an unnecessary design decision.
Other then that. Real shame that Birth by sleep is not coming on psn. I will get it with UMD, but still, I wanted to download it.

I still don’t think this offer is fair. People like me who bought the PSP go soon after launch only got one free game.

hi Adam , its very good to see this psp GO posts here on the blog since the system barely gets any sort of announcement or publicity here or anywhere for that matter , im a psp GO owner and i love it , love its portability , new features like pause/ resume ( which i think the ps3 should have too ) , bluetooth functionalities , and i know sony has all its first party titles on psn already but 1 thing i will ask is for more suport from third party publishers to PSN , BIG games like Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep should be on PSN already , it shouldnt be an option to them , sony should make the support mandatory just like they did with ps3 trophies , i really love the system and i have some truly amazing games on it.
i hope you make third party publishers support PSN a lot more than they usually do , and i as a psp go owner want more support from PS+ too , if you guys can add the PSN friends list to my psp GO i would be extremely happy , i want to be connected to PSN even when im not home , i know i can use remote play but its not the same , thanks keep supporting the system , cant wait to play my most anticipated psp title EVER: God of War Ghost of Sparta

grrrr drop the price!! I don’t get how a product with stone-age wi-fi security can be charging so much…

Do not fall in the trap!!! They offer you some tasty games and then many good umd games are not in digital format, so you will be swindled. I tell this with my own experience

Don’t care about the price of the Go. It’s the extortionate PSN software prices that put me off.
Game Code + Disc + Box + Manual + Shelf Space should not cost the same (or as is usual more) than Game Code + Server Space + Bandwidth.
If PSN titles were £5-£10 less than their physical counterparts, I’d have a Go by now.

One aged is sufficient?

Early adopters always seem to get the shaft.

Sooo… I take it that Sony didn’t get the up take it was hoping for when it first launched this offer lol.

Agreed with addyjones1234. I think you should consider the initial purchasers as well, their feedback is invaluable for the consumers thinking of buying a console.

Just drop the price of the PSP GO… it’s as simple as that. It doesn’t matter how much SONY throw at it to sweeten the deal, the only demographic I can see who the PSP GO is aimed at are those with money to burn.
It’s no surprise really that SONY is no longer number 1 in the games industry, which is a real pity…

@2 I don’t think anyone will be in a rush to buy the PSPgo at Christmas.
As much as I love the device it was a massive waste of money. The fact that Birth By Sleep won’t be released on the Store (which obviously should be mandatory nowadays) was the last nail in the coffin. I’ll stick with Nintendo handhelds from now on guys.

Posted on 9 September, 2010 at 5:52 pm by Raider197
Also, the fact that this offer isn’t open to early-adopters is pretty insulting.

pspgo should be 100 quid by now

I actually quite like my PSPgo, and it was this offer that attracted me into buying it.
Great value for £155…. [leaves quietly]

I agree with Raider the fact that they dont even offer any new sort of offer to early adopters is insulting. IIai more for my psp go a got worse deal on free games.Definate rethinkon how they treat loyal customers! Still nodisregard to theactuall machine wich works perfectly.
Also: a few people have been complaining about not being able to play games properly, if u have a ps3 connect one of your controllers to use as better remote controll for your psp go.

No stores have or want to sell PSPgo here in Norway. Cant find it on any of the big online stores and if they have the option to buy it they dont have it in storage.
Get the price down Sony and get it out in the stores….

Can’t you just drop the price to £99.99? I am sure it would sell well then;)

lol Psp Go is another failure from Sony, no wonder at the state of that Psn Store.

Too bad there isn’t anything like this for the 3000 model.. I bought one a few weeks ago, mainly because of the UMD drive and cheaper price.
..The biggest problem with Go is.. There simply aren’t enough good games to be downloaded (yet?). I have 4 UMD games for my PSP now, and only one of them is also downloadable from the EU store.
..I MIGHT get AC Bloodlines someday, but the physical copy can be found much cheaper than what the digital version is right now, so.. yeah. Sorry.

GTA chinatown wars just got released for iPad. By some accounts The best version yet, for 8 euro’s. Us GO owners still have to pay 35 euro’s. Sony needs to fix this!

Posted on 9 September, 2010 at 8:06 pm by Jimmirock
What would also be nice for PSP Go (and PSP users in general) is if you copy what Sony America are doing and discount PS1 games for the PS1 15 year anniversary.
But knowing what the europe PSN is like…

Posted on 9 September, 2010 at 9:13 pm by Sovsenher
Drop the price by 15% and let us(gamers) pick the games, then i might buy one, and probaply many more will buy the GO

Great news but my only complaint is I was one of the few people to actually pre-order a PSPgo, got it on day one and for a price of £225, all I got from Sony was a copy of of Gran Turismo PSP for free. Which don’t get me wrong, its great! It just seems unfair how people who buy a PSPgo now, nearly a year after it came out, can get it at a lower price and with 10 free games! I know this offer helps you sell more PSPgo units but it would still be nice if us faithful day one buyers could take part in the offer, or at least something similar.

You’d have to be a complete moron with no common sense to buy a GO. The VERY SECOND I first saw it and its price I instantly knew that it was gonna have no games on the store and the very few games would be waaaay overpriced and that it would be a huge failure.
It costs more and does less!!!! LOOOOOL
I got the smart guy PSP (the 3000) which cost me only £150, not £225 (close to half price!!) lol and I can enjoy UMD games at low low prices that will never be on the store!
LOL!

for sale: my PSP Go. used it for one week. games in the PSN store are to expensive. even the UMD version in de game shops are cheaper. and they contain a box, cover, manual etc. why is a digital download version 3 times the price they ask in the game stores??? -_-
