SingStar Dance Track List Unveiled

.) Will the tracks already available on the SingStore get an update to include the dance stuff?

.) Will SingStar Dance have new trophies?

.) Will there be a patch for the regular SingStar game to add the dance functionality, so you can use the dance stuff for SingStore songs without buying the SingStar Dance disc?

Absolutely the worst tracklist of any Singstar disc released. Such a shame, I was looking forward to the Move functionality.

i wish there was some way to buy and play the tracks from the singstar store outside of singstar, because i can’t sing worth a damn but i’d love to be able to legally buy and play the music videos.
maybe you could let us do it through the singstar player app.

Will Normal Singstar be patched to work with Move, as all the songs on this tracklist I would want to do, I already have downloaded or on previous singstar discs.

I like the fact that I run Singstar off the Take That disk so the only songs on the wheel are ones me and my gf want. I don’t want a load of clogging up the wheel that I don’t like. I don’t mind paying for Move capabilities in the add on section.

Is there any chance of this happening?

Great tracklist for a great addition to the SingStar universe.

I have one thing that I have been thinking about. Will SingStar Dance have a mode that lets one person Sing AND dance at the same time?

Take the Lady Gaga screenshot for example. The player needs to sing “myyyyy” into the microphone, but at the same time the player has to have his/her hands pointing down.

I’m not one for buying the discs anyway, so the fact that most of this list are ones already available elsewhere (on store, or on other discs) doesn’t bug me too much.

I heard that the dance and guitar features will be available separately (either as general update to game, or paid add-on). Is there any confirmation of this anywhere?

What about tracks that we already own – will there be an ‘upgrade to dance/guitar’ option on the store when they become available there, or will we be expected to pay full whack again?

I’m still not overly convinced that these ‘features’ are what Singstar really needs (would prefer more party modes on signing, and a single player ‘tour’ mode to give some solo challenges – you know, like the very first game had only better), but will be willing to see how they pan out – but if it means having to pay for tracks I already own again (over 400 at present), then I won’t be too bothered checking it out.

Can’t wait such a sucker for Singstar!

Hoping you guys have luck patching stuff would love for stuff i’ve bought or my first singstar disc tracks to be carried over Tracklist now is good enough tho. I’ll have a laugh getting my groove onto MC Hammer, Shaggy and GaGa lmao!

Just thinking too with the camera we’ll have no choice but to be filmed and snapped. I could obtain possible blackmail material during the christmas parties with this one!!

We need a Singstar rock game, me and my wife have a few mates once a month come around and play it together but they like all the pop songs but not alot for me. We need more Bon Jovi tracks, Marliyn Manson, Disturbed, Slipknot ect. Sure there’s Rockband and stuff out there but Singstar is by far a better game and as i said our fave game to play with our mates. But that being said Singstar Dance is a must for my wife keep up the great work guy’s but think of little old me .

Thank you, this list is fantastic! I can’t wait for the other Lady GaGa songs to get patched for Dance too, but being able to sing + dance to such a tracklist is a great feature.

Nice track list for people who dont buy DL’s from store.

For those of us who do, its pretty meh tracklist. Me for example I already have just over 50% of that Tracklist, so I’m slightly disappointed.

However…I’m well happy to see some /\/sync and Backstreet Boys FINALLY Appearing on SingStar in some shape or form.

Although atm I’m without a PS3 since it recently died, and I’m currently too broke to buy one, and whats worse, is I have my Move controllers sitting here staring at me, I just wanna cry now lol =P

Anyway, Gimme some /\/sync on the SingStore!! (For when I get a new PS3 lol) <3

as @20 said i am one of those who own most of these so i hope we get free updates, disappointed otherwise, then its just a case of Sony robbing us as always i sure hope we will get updates for the ones already released for free i think if not they will loose sing star customers me possibly being one of them i have spent already over £200 on sing star alone so as you would feel my pain if i didn’t get the free updates please respond to weather these songs already on the store will get free updates please

BlaizeK you have 50% of the track list but you don’t have the dance feature. If you had to buy the songs you don’t have from the store you would spend as much as the cost of the disc (assuming this is the normal SingStar disc Price)meaning you get a whole new feature for the price of a big mac

The setlist is really good. However, many tracks have already been released on the Singstore, so people who want to buy the game will have to pay again for songs they already have.
By the way, when will we know about the price we’ll have to pay to upgrade the songs for guitar/dance? I think it’s important to know this, and nothing has been told yet.

My daughters were really looking forward to this, but now I’m not so sure… they’re only 6 & 8 and won’t know many of these songs.

I know you’ve got to appeal to a wide audience, but why so few songs from the likes of Pixie Lott, Kylie, S Club 7, JLS etc ?

I think this is one area of the market where Singstar isn’t really hitting the mark.

Hey, I would love if you also made singstar dance support dancemats, like the new ddr game from konami will have, that would be awesome , but yes, I suppose thats too much to ask about, maybe make a singstar ddr version? – But I’ve already preordered singstar dance and guitar as I love such games, so much fun , or even funnier for such as me wich can not sing or dance at all, but it’s worth the laught

The songlist is terrible!
And I´m sure you told us earlier this year the add-on costs extra. That is indeed a rip-off people.

I was hoping there would be more new songs tucked up your sleeve, as it is there are only a few songs on here that I don’t already own through the SingStore.. kindof bugs methat to get Dance functionality i’ll have to purchase a whole new disc with all the songs I already own on it. I suppose the question is is Dance functionality worth (probably $30 in Australia) to me? We’ll see, I suppose it depends how much support the Dance charts get in the SingStore.

Meanwhile, a very important quetion — does ‘Pass The Mic’ have dance functionality? I can see people swapping between dance and singing mid-song, two teams of 8 people having 4 people playing at a time, would be REALLY fun and totally mix things up! Please let me know if it does.

Can we also tag this with “singstar” not just “singstar dance” and “london studios” i have the singstar tag bookmarked and had to search for this once i heard it was available….

I’m Not To Much of a fan of the songs from singstore, or Hey Ya by outkast because i have them on PS3 already… the ps2 updates are fine cause now we can add them to the my singstar online…

I for one beleive the discs should be brand new content mostly… with a few back catalog tracks and singstore songs… only about 6 of the latter would be acceptable.

Or have a program where if someone bought the song on singstore would get a voucher for a new song for the ones theyve already downloaded

Umnm… I find the track listing very… American. There’s an awful lot of good old (and new) UK/European dance/pop music that would work really well with Singstar Dance but instead we get Chris Brown and the like? We’re not all R&B fans y’know.

I think this looks great, singstar never was for really good songs, they were for chart toppers which got everyone up and singing! Which is exactly what this will do! I can’t wait!
