Not sure if the image above makes it obvious enough, but there’s a certain game featuring a certain Lara Croft releasing today. Could you tell?
That’s not the only content releasing this week featuring a truly iconic character though; the demo for Ghost of Sparta hits the store, so now non-Plus subscribers can try the latest instalment featuring the angriest man (god) ever seen in gaming!
That’s not all for PSP owners, UFC Disputed 2010 brings its incredible MMA action to the store, as well as there being a new GTI Club title, and two new additions to the Essentials range released. Not forgetting that this Friday FIFA 11 will be released digitally too. That’s quite a lot of handheld action for one week right?
One of my favourite games of the past year see’s the fourth and final piece of DLC released, with Claptraps New Robot Revolution hitting the world of Borderlands, so grab three friends (this game is great single player, but best played co-op) and enjoy this madcap action.
There’s also a smattering of new demos, minis, add-ons, the ModNation Racers soundtrack and more; for the full list you know what to do…
I’m not actually going to be around for comments today I’m afraid, but Ross will keep his eye out and respond to any urgent queries if needs be. Back to full service next week, promise.

Thanks for… Oh, wait! There’s no Castle Crashers, Again(x4 weeks).
Anything new about his status?
Anyway, thanks for Castlevania Demo. Seems to be destiny that I don’t have to buy a game on PS Store.

Three PSP games is better than nothing, although at this rate we’ll never catch up. No PSOne games again though, despite a wealth of them in other territories.

Looking forward to trying Castlevania and the WRC game. Tried the MMA demo from USA store, but I don’t think it is as good as UFC. Doesn’t have the same violence/brutality factor.
Good work on the update.

im a little shocked to be honest at the price of PSP UFC 2010, think its officially time i gave up on my go, i could trade it in get a 3000, and a load of games plus keep my digital download ones by redownloading on my 3000. i know blame will be pushed back to publisers choice etc etc etc, but i aint paying £32 for somthing that will be £25

FIFA 11 on PSP for £31.99?
It’s UMD Brother is £24.99 http://www.game.co.uk/Games/PSP/Sport-Football-Management/FIFA-11/~r349513/?s=fifa+11+psp
This is why the PSPgo died, oh when will SONY realise you can’t charge MORE for digital distribution.
I’d love someone from SCEE to explain the logic behind the pricing please?

kool-chris93 – Play Memories is just another photo app. It is able to display 3D and Panoramic Photos in a better way than Photo Gallery. Works quite well, but I don’t know why Sony didn’t just up the original, rather than having two photo apps now?!!

Today is the 15th anniversary of PlayStation in europe, not only has there been no mention on the blog about this massive milestone but i really expected some nostalgic love from the store team with a few PSone classics either added or reduced, the themes and avatar from us would have been nice too…
Why no nostalgic love mike? why?

@ All asking about PlayMemories (FWIW it can be used without a 3D set)
Play Memories (free)
PlayMemories is a software program that lets you enjoy all your photos on TV. It provides you with a number of features for viewing both wide and tall panoramic photos, multi-angle photos from different angles, and 3D photos that take you right inside the images. With intuitive controls and an easy photo search for large collections (grouping by year, month, or day with one button functionality), PlayMemories makes memories easy and fun!

No celebrations for playstations 15th birthday mike?

@SlapnutzUK
It is quite obvious that Sony cannot dictate to publishers their pricing. Pricing is NOT something for Sony to decide.

Fifa 11 on psp at amazon is £24.99
Fifa 11 on psn store is £31.99
From where im sat digital distributed stuff should be cheaper considering theres less overheads, why are you sooo content on ripping your customers off time and time again??? you have even priced it higher than the rrp of £29.99!
