Really looking forward to the Mubi and Lovefilm apps on the PS3 in October & November. Movie streaming packages will be great.

Excuse me, but when is the video store going to launch in other countries?
We’ve been promised a video store, if i remember correctly it was promised to us March 2010. Now where is it? Whenever people ask here it’s always the “We’d like to expand the service and we’re doing our best” nonsense, but seriously do you think you can keep saying that forever?

Sony, is a company.. and a company, has people.. hired to do the job so that the company can deliver, i say.. they’re not doing the best, or you’ve been doing false promises Sony!

Cut the **** and start telling us things.. don’t treat your customers like a sack of **** when YOU actually promised us something, it’s not people demanding something.. it’s people waiting for something…

Yea it’s about time it gets released out here too.. out here we got telenet Digibox to watch movies like that, but there’s barely anything worth seeing on there..so I’d rent a lot of hd movies online via my ps3 if I could..

They don’t give a toss about users. It took James Gallagher a few minutes to respond to a nonchalant comment while PS+ users have been asking for the last week on different posts on the blogs about content which has been promised to use as part of the monthly package we paid for without any response or even acknowledgment.
Everyone in the PS+ team is incompetent and a disgrace to Sony as they are making the company look like a bunch of ametuer buffoons!!

Hey James,Any news about rolling out the Video store to the rest of Europe? What’s Happening? I thought Ireland was due to get it back at the start of this year! Even a rough estimate will do!

I just want to add that us users (at least, most of us) are open for any info that comes around, it’s just that there’s been no discreet information and the communication feels scarce, over the last couple of weeks Sony has not shown a lot of professionalism, with last week’s Plus update, which is still not fixed and the video store being delayed beyond infinity without a reason.

I speak for more people than just myself, when i say that i feel put into the shadows.

Communication is important, fans/loyal customers are important…
People take the time to ask questions, store updates (Mike/James/Ross)are very talkactive and i like those guys, they’re doing their job.

I’m not saying that you’re not doing your job, i’m just trying to make clear that everything you do makes you go by a bad image.

Please Sony, speak up.

Wow? If you check the incompetent and ameuter buffoons actually did put the PS+ Update on the store, honestly have some patient next time. Playstation Plus is still very much in the early stages, what did you except after how long it took the people making Home to get that out of it’s beta?

In the end if your not happy you could try not buying PS+ in the future.

HI JAMES would it be possible to get any information at all on the video store for the rest of europe more importantly IRELAND when the video store for the uk and that was announced they said at e3 or gamescom that it will be available across the whole of europe by the end of 2010 can you please shed some light on this …as i have tried numerous times to get even a sliver of info from you guys on the blog..also can we get first play on PS+ and some more ps1 games because i have all the games that were put up so far maybe give us a choice on what we download… im not sure if ill be getting PS+ again unless it really takes on board what we the playstation users are asking for…many thanks scaff123

I think it is only fair that we all want our ultimate entertainment system to have the same features in every region/country.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the reason the video store isn’t being rolled out to other countries in Europe is that there is hardly anyone using it.

I don’t know a single person who has paid for a film from the store due to the ridiculous pricing. Sony probably seen how poor its performance has been so far and decided to abandon its plans for expansion.

There’s so much wrong with the video store but no one appears to be interested in listening, taking the points on board and trying to fix them.

Look at how much Playstation Plus is improving. People are feeding back what they like and don’t like and comments are replied to and taken on board. Even though its a young service its definitely heading in the right direction. I wish we could say the same for this shambles.

Seriously the US gets a new and improved version of netflix..

Both already have the moviestore this is outrages.. If you abandoned plans to roll it out then just say so.. it is getting ridiculous making promises without keeping them.

So will there ever be an official statement about the release of the video store or is Sony just gonna make us wait some more.

Please just for once answer a simple question will the rest of us ever see the video store released in our respective countries?

its not as easy as you think you sit at home pressing the on button on your ps3 and thats it behind closed doors way more happens to make your gaming/ movie experience good

Xbox have the movie store in Ireland and most european countries. There is huge demand for it in Ireland. You have no reason not to give us it!

What with ps+ and the lack of attention that customers get from Sony after the huge amount that we paid for their console, I am seriously considering buying an Xbox. Same price for online, Movie store and much better service. They now have in built wi-fi so…
Also:
Why do non-ps+ users not get Beta’s if we used to get them when there was no ps+. Sony said that they would keep everything free that we were already getting free and ps+ would only get new things and free games etc etc…

killzonexx : its people like you who let the companys get away to easly. im a consumer and i have the right to complain if something is promised to me as it is.

we have the right to demand something, to complain.. we may not get it (that we all know) but still we must have our voice heard that we are not happy. why else have a blogg for the consumers to make there voices heard?

i pay for the games, i pay for ps3 and for plus.. i have the right to complai/to ask/to tell sony how i feel. its as easy as that.
