Wait… So there’s Polish movies… But it’s not available in Poland!?
Just how outrageous is that?
With my second post about it, I am probably slowly becoming a troll, but seriously. Are there ANY PLANS AT ALL to get ANY of the PS3′s added features for Poland? I’m not even asking about all the other countries at the moment… We’ve got a single icon in the TV section leading to… a website. Why even add it?

Better yet, answer this question – why are you focusing on adding more and more country-restricted features to the PS3 when you’ve already got so many that are barely available to the so-called ‘rest of the world’?

Mubi is great. What would make it better if it was linked up to IMDB (through the ps3 web browser) to find out a bit more about the films. The rating system is a bit weird on mumbi and most films are scored at 3.8 which doesn’t give a real indication of what the film is going to be like…

I cant access my Mubi account through the new application on the PS3 because I live in Spain using my UK account. However. if I access the website through the(very poor)PS3 browser, no problem!
I would watch more movies if I could access my account directly on the PS3.
I have been waiting to access these films for so long now, but still watching on my Laptop.
Disappointing Mubi!

Mubi is available in Sweden, why isn’t the competition open for Swedes to participate. That s*****!!!

1) when does the EU customers get the MUBI-content which is available for the rest of the world? (remaing 10.000 movies i mean,
including the disneys,it works on my pc,so why not on the PS3 in the same network
2) when does the EU get the videostore coming month
since it got promissed last year,to be released before the end of 2010.
3)Why release a contest if the majority is no allowed to participate
4)why does my money matters if i connect my ps3 true a VPN.
and i can watch MLB.tv, HUBU,VUDU,NETFLIX?
better yet,why did it recieve a coupon for Charlies angels to download (which i did) and was able to view it locally.
but when it comes to EU ,you refuse to answer
5) Why in HOME EU,there are constant posters of movies available on the Playstation network,if you are not going to give the service anyway to the remaining 95% of the EU..

Still cant launch MUBI since PSN doesnt allow me to correct my country. Just do a goelocation on my ip instead of whatever my account is..

Sadly Mubi is still unable to offer me a single movie I want to watch, and I’m a fan of non-mainstream cinema… Heck of the last 30 or so movies I’ve watched (I watch about 5-10 films a week) only about 1/4 of them were in the English. The rest were French, Korean, Japanese, German, Spanish, and Chinese. So I’m open to the world of cinema, but even I have my limits. (black and white Argentinian films made in the 1960s about depressed families just don’t interest me, sorry)

That said, even if they did finally offer something even slightly interesting, it would still be in crushingly low end sub-SD quality streamed video.

I want to like you Mubi, I really do, but content is king.

hi i have a problem with mubi.

my main PSN account is a UK account it is connected to my Mubi account and to my Facebook account.

however due to the fact that i live in germany i am forced to use my german account for the mubi app, that is neither connected to my mubi account or my facebook account… i seriously do not want to have to make a new mubi account and or facebook account to be able to use mubi to its fullest… its annoying as hell as i would really love to get a mubi subscription but not under these circumstances.

that makes me a sad panda

MUBI is nothing to do with sony (other than licensing for PS3), it is a third party application/service. if you think that they should turn down offers/services from third parties just because that party does/can not make it available in timbuktoo or wherever you live you have your head in the clouds – it’s not a way to make a profitable business. and scea do the same – vudu (a third party service) is only available in the US, and not their other territories.

licensing films is an even more complex arrangement than videogames – often each country has its own distributor, so rights can be obtained from one distributor in one country but not from another in a different one. a universal european vod service just won’t happen..

I just want the global promised video on demand service.. It is promised before the end of this year.. And each day SCEE takes longer and stays quite the more pissed the EU fan will become.

Well come New Year and all the fireworks are going off with still no video on demand service.. I will be having a toast..

well the fact is SCEE doesen’t care about it’s consumers cause we never seen one blog about what they are going 2 improve they just ignore all the bad feedback and then a year later call it improvement cause that’s easier for a group off lazy bums
just look at the blog lately i’ve seen nothing but LBP2,GT5,MUBI,DEAD Nation that’s the only things we keep hearing about

. (because asking the same question all over again is getting boring)

i don’t care about mubi but poland is no timbuktoo. it has more people than finland,denmark,portugal,swizerland and ireland combined so there is a big potential. isn’t the whole point of EU to treat every country equally?

They simply don’t care for the other European countries.
Every time they release a new service we (customers) have to ask them to bring it to our countries like we will make money of them.

Here in Greece we don’t even have a video store and they promised we would all get it before this year if I remember correctly.

Also PS plus was ready from launch but every time we ask about a feature like MUBI or God forbid a free one like Vidzone we hear the usual excuse (they have trouble with each country’s laws so it takes so long…)

So by the time PS4 is released will we have the video store? I am almost sure we won’t. Thanks for treating us like second class customers.
