Under Siege – Watch The Intro Created By Axis Animation

As you all know we have been busy at Seed Studios preparing for the release of Under Siege. It is our first PS3 game and we are very happy with what we have achieved so far.

So up to this point besides working on the game we have also worked to get in touch with our fans. For that we have launched an official website and forum and started a Facebook page. Feedback has been great and we cannot wait for the day when the game is on sale.

But getting an RTS feature-packed game on PSN was not our only goal, we also wanted the bring out the big guns and give our fans something extra. So I am proud to present the Under Siege intro.

It was made by the nice folks at Axis Animation (who you may remember as the creator of the Killzone 2 intro) and it gives you an introduction to the world of Under Siege. Hope you like it.

LittleBigPlanet 2 Demo, Beta Trial Expansion And Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves

Countries: , , , ,

Hi everyone! One of the things we promised when we announced the change in LittleBigPlanet 2‘s release date was that we’d find some ways to give you some LittleBigPlanet goodness ahead of the new game’s release in January. Now is the time to share with you what we’ve got in store…

LITTLEBIGPLANET 2 STORY MODE DEMO

Let’s start with the great news that there will be a LittleBigPlanet 2 PSN demo coming your way next month. This demo will let everyone out there get a taste of LittleBigPlanet 2′s new Story Mode levels, and some of the new gameplay types that LBP 2 will give you the power to create for yourself. Experience the swinging good fun of the Grapple Hook, rescue some helplessly adorable Sackbots, and see the chaotic multiplayer fun that blows up when competitive scoring mode and some Creatinators armed with rockets are combined.

LittleBigPlanet 2 Story Mode demo will be published on PlayStation Store on 22 December.

SACKBOY’S PREHISTORIC MOVES

Next up is something a little different… a brand new spin-off PSN title that gives a taste of the fun that can happen when Sackboy gets his hands on the PlayStation Move motion controller.

Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves

Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves contains a brand new 10 level theme – a dinosaur dominated land where the Evil Big Rex is king. You are on a mission to take on challenges engineered by Terrance Dactyl – and you’re going to need help. So put on your bear skins and grab up to four mates to navigate the tricky terrain of tropical jungle and erupting volcanoes – the player with the PlayStation Move controller leads the way, flicking switches and triggering platforms to help the others, using DualShock Controllers, through each level. Leap between Dino heads, use the Move controller to blast aside crates of bubbles, ride dinosaurs through prehistoric cities and take to the heights of the prehistoric tree canopy – then team up to defeat Big Rex, all while collecting Trophies along the way.

Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves

Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves is completely standalone – it doesn’t require either LBP 1 or LBP 2 to run. What you will need is one PlayStation Move controller and at least one friend with a DualShock Controller – it is a Move Required and multiplayer-only co-op experience.

Watch The New Deus Ex: Human Revolution Gameplay Video

Countries: , , , ,

Hello everyone! I’m excited to share the second gameplay trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution! In it you’ll find more footage on combat, augmentations, in-game menus, and upgrade trees than we’ve ever publicly shown. If you pay attention, you might even sneak a peek at our hacking mini-game and a weapon modification that toys with the term “hand cannon.”

And to those of you who think you’ve seen everything after watching the leaked footage (yeah, we know it exists…), to quote legendary Canadian rock group Bachman Turner Overdrive, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”

In other news, I’m pleased to announce that I and other members of the studio are presently readying content to distribute specifically to this great blog. After spending four challenging but passionate years developing a sequel to one of the most revered videogames of all-time, everyone involved can’t wait to talk. We’re very, very excited, and we hope you are too.

I can tell you from playing here in the office that Autolog will bring out the compeition in you – even if you’re not a competitive person. Every day we’re amazed at the new times people set on each of the events. You think it can’t be beaten…until it is. Finding the right combination of shortcuts, nitrous useage, and bust strategies is the key to achieving the best time.

Who’s That Flying?! Is Out Now!

EnglishSelect a Language:

Countries: , , , ,

We’re very, very pleased to announce that our second minis game, “Who’s That Flying?!” is now live on the PlayStation Store!

Check out the all-new, full trailer for the game.

With “Who’s That Flying?!” we’ve combined side-scrolling shooting action with elements of tower defence and even some up-close and personal quick-time events for the super-dramatic moments.

What that means is that the character you control, the “Guardian of Earth” is pretty much invulnerable, blasting enemies apart and grappling giant bosses with ease – but the cities you are defending are hugely vulnerable. So your goal is not to survive, but rather to stop too many enemies getting past you and destroying your cities.

WTF-Title-screenWTF-Gamplay-Laser

The story starts out with the Guardian of Earth on trial for allowing the invasion to take place; each level is played out as a flashback as you submit your version of events… in the most dramatic way possible!

The game is now available on the PS3 and PSP worldwide for the price of £3.99/€4.99.

Who's That Flying?! Is Out Now!WTF-Guilty

We’ve piled as much as we could into our latest game – INCLUDING (but not limited to):

  • Story mode with full animated cutscenes detailing the trial of the Guardian of Earth!
  • Five unique stages and over 40 individual levels!
  • 4 Infinite mode challenges to unlock with local highscore boards!
  • Challenge mode with 24 unique trials to unlock!
  • 17 different enemy types!
  • Masses of bonus artwork and awards!
  • Huge finishing moves!
  • Combos, medals. Power-ups and more…!

The response we’ve had to our previous minis, “Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess!” has been phenomenal – thanks to everyone who’s supported us, and we’re really hoping that with “Who’s That Flying?!” we can raise our bar even higher!
