From today, when you launch the Internet Browser from your PS3 system and check out the home page, you’ll notice a few changes…
eu.playstation.com has been revamped with a new interface to make the most of your HDTV. It is now easier to navigate and you can even use PlayStation Move.
In terms of content, we bring you there all the latest trailers from the world of PlayStation, news and features, as well as guides to help you get the most of your PS3.
Go check out the new site now at eu.playstation.com from the Internet Browser on your PS3.
In the New Year you can expect more to come to this new site, with the integration of the PlayStation.Blog and PSN community features.
I look forward to hearing your first impressions on the new site and, for those without immediate access to their PS3, here are a few screens.

Nice to hear you’re improving these things, although I do belong to that apparently really small minority of people who still have a 1366×768 TV. The browser is already really strange in handling these resolutions, what with typing in a text box being in a textbox in 1080i/p but in a pop-up window for 1920x1080p.
Personally, I would strongly recommend to keep bugging whomever at Sony is responsible (I think currently some people in Japan) to work on the web-browser. For me personally, I can’t believe you haven’t migrated to a webkit based browser. And I personally think it is probably even worse that you can’t use the Move controller as a pointing device, especially as the browser does support a regular mouse. It is this kind of thinking on the software side that is holding Sony back more than anything else right now.

@FnlD Im apart of a big crop of people that use the PS3 internet browser alot to watch and read anime online and go on Eurogamer etc so its just disappointing that a mobile phone internet can run better than the PS3 at times my very old N95 runs better wth! This new homepage is awsome it looks really nice in 1080i on my tv and seems to work really well from what ive tried, tho it did crash which sucks

I think the only thing that will fix all of these issues on the ps3 browser is the eventual ps4…that’s if whomever the fool whom decided to only install 256mbs of RAM into the ps3 isn’t around to scotch the ps4′s development. You tube is unuseable for searches and commentary since the update before the last update and so are many sites rendered useles by the ps3′s ancient web browsing engine. We need more RAM

Curious. The HD US PS3 homepage works properly at 720p. Just SCEE being lazy again and not giving a toss.

I checked it yesterday.. well it does not look bad.. stupid that something would not be compatible on 720p but i got 1080p anyway..
I think the interface is slow..
not all the movies work
Would be nice if that would be fixed..

Give us a better browser, not a new Homepage.
A new browser is good for alle Websites on the web, not only 4 one.

Brilliant! Looks a lot better! I had to do a few tweaks to get it to display on my own tv, but that is down to my own settings, and lack of knowledge on my part.
I’ve never understood why some people constantly moan about the PS3-
-It was a brilliant sophisticated bit of kit when I first bought it.
-It is constantly updated to make it better, or to add new features.
-It can do a lot more than other similar devices on the market.
-It is a brilliant sophisticated bit of kit now.
WHAT MORE DO SOME PEOPLE WANT?
Do they want a coffee making add on?
Perhaps little robot arms that come out from the vents to tuck them in at night?

That’s awesome
BUT………….
How about an overhaul of the main website?
The ability to message friends from the PS site would be great. As would access to the store and the ability to buy stuff?
The site is great, but it’s lacking in comparison to…..shall we say….. your competitors!
